This song always gives me a feeling of comfort whenever I'm anxious, Its been 7 years since the first time I heard it and it still gives me the same feeling. I love it, Mike Patton is one of the biggest geniuses of our century.
The acting in this is so great. I love the way the guy throws some invisible food out of his mouth, like anybody ever does that, and such commitment from everyone involved.
Personally, just discovered this crack addictive thing. Love the lyrics, need more of the fan made video. & I watch it ALL THE TIME. Mr Bungle did not bungle this one
I can remember listening to this back in summer of 2009, when my parents had separated (and later got back together and are still together to this day) and I was battling a deep depression as a result. I was 20 years old, coming to terms with my youthful sense of immortality coming to an end as a result of this tragedy, and I stumbled upon this music video and found myself feeling a deep connection with the character and the throes he was dealing with with his own family….at least until the masked people and the blond dude came in and started killing everyone. Either or, this track still strikes a cord. I’m 33 now, married and have a very successful career as a nurse and soon to be grad student. Thinking back to that period makes me realize how much I’ve grown since then and how much that whole situation shaped both me as a person and my current trajectory in life. Bad things happen for reasons we don’t always understand, but they ultimately serve an important purpose and that’s to make us stronger. 😊
@@thetacokawaii5708 If that were the case, obviously not, but thankfully, it wasn't, rather, it was my dad failure as a husband that nearly caused them to divorce, for which he flipped 180 degrees and made the changes necessary to save his marriage.

Because we are all subconsciously unhappy with certain aspects of our lives. We want someone else to come and fix these things we think and feel are wrong, while also accepting and comforting us that we were right in how we felt. We don't wanna be the bad guy, or the "voice of reason" if it means we could ultimately end up being wrong or perhaps losing in the game. But when it is someone else's name and fame at stake, we don't mind letting others take the spotlight if it means getting our way.

Patton is an underrated genius. Faith No More's version of "I Started A Joke" is brilliant and this videos for that song, this song and Pink Cigarette are wicked awesome!
I think I consider this track the height of that '90s FNM/Bungle sound. Feels like the most direct expression of a particular sense of alienation I think serves as the backdrop for a lot of Patton's other projects. (Think Everything's Ruined off Angel Dust) I've always thought Mr. Bungle in particular was at its best when it leaned into being the grotesque fun-house mirror reflection of music as industry.
Heard this song on Napster in the latter part of the 1990s, some accidental discovery, and the debates of whether it was Mr Bungle, but we knew it sounded like Mike Patton! You can hear his unique voice! lol LOVE THIS SONG AND VIDEO! Thank you! May the heavens call upon this song and bring it into their airwaves. ;)
I'm impressed, I went looking for Mr Bungle and was certainly not disappointed. If not for era of the car, I would have believed it was official You nailed the weirdness, really well done.
I honestly think he's being sincere. Like discovering mr. Bungle, for me personally, I thought it was just weird goofy music. But it grew to really have an impact on me. And I think that's only possible if the artist really truly believes in what they're doing.
Essa música é simplesmente inexplicável, é algo que mais nenhuma outra música consegue transmitir, essa música parece que veio de outro mundo. Uma das melhores músicas de todos os tempos
I've been listening to Bungle and other Patton themed projects for years and this is honestly the first I've actually watched this video. It's beautiful
I've liked Mr Bungle for what seems like forever and I wish all their tracks has fan made clips like this! This nails creepiness and the general uneasy feeling of this band so well that I question the mental stability of the director! LOL Thanks for posting.

I discovered this song while I was in highs school, or to be precise, a classmate of mine who I was never close with just walked up to me and said: "hey, listen to this, song I'm so sure you'll like it. " , just out of the blue And I did, so so much, I love it to this day. What's weird about it is that I always was black sheep in school, never could fit in , never really talked to anyone in my class and was always on my own, it's somewhat sad looking back on it, but I'm really grateful he did tell me about Mr.Bungle that day.
HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT. In capitals. I just realized this video was fanmade. This song was a cathartic experience for me along with the video, but the fact it's not official makes it even more genius. It catches the feeling and meaning of this song in a so qualitative and clever way that it's almost supernatural. Hats off.

Congrats to whole team behind this video! You have made this last 5 minutes simply beautiful. Greetings from Costa Rica
Greetings from Brasil
This is great - I love how the video follows the subtle feel of the song and then escalates with the song - very dynamic :)
This song sends shivers through my spine
tkan, your a legend. This will be remembered by so many of us.
The song kicks ass, but the video is also really, REALLY fucking good. It's not easy to give a message and emotions to a video when the message is already given by the song, and yet you managed to do it very well. Congrats !
I didn't realize Richard D James/Aphex Twin was in this video
Legend
Patton is an underrated genius. Faith No More's version of "I Started A Joke" is brilliant and this videos for that song, this song and Pink Cigarette are wicked awesome!
holy shit dude i cant believe u made this. this is fucking excellent
basically i think its a crack baby getting revenge on his parents
Have you seen the Pink Cigarette video? Fucking pure beauty.
I refuse to believe this is a fan video.
What about the Goodbye sober day fan made vid?
This isn't fan made you're all fucking idiots and make me sad when I think about how your kids will be a dumb as you.
I think I consider this track the height of that '90s FNM/Bungle sound. Feels like the most direct expression of a particular sense of alienation I think serves as the backdrop for a lot of Patton's other projects. (Think Everything's Ruined off Angel Dust)
I've always thought Mr. Bungle in particular was at its best when it leaned into being the grotesque fun-house mirror reflection of music as industry.
nice pfp
I'm so glad this video exists, it's fan made and so creative and well done! So many Bungle songs would make awesome videos
I don't know why did I almost cry while watching this. Maybe it's too beautiful, maybe it's too meaningful. But I am certain that I loved it.
When that angel guy bustes through the doors, that gave me the chills
Same, it fits with the song perfectly
Holy SHIT! I can't believe this is the first time I have seen this! Been a Bungle fan since 1991!
Me too mate!
Heard this song on Napster in the latter part of the 1990s, some accidental discovery, and the debates of whether it was Mr Bungle, but we knew it sounded like Mike Patton! You can hear his unique voice! lol LOVE THIS SONG AND VIDEO! Thank you! May the heavens call upon this song and bring it into their airwaves. ;)
This has gotta be the best fan made video ever.
R.I.P. Meep
RIP Ben Woolf! You're missed dearly! 💔 What an incredible actor❤
I'm impressed, I went looking for Mr Bungle and was certainly not disappointed. If not for era of the car, I would have believed it was official You nailed the weirdness, really well done.
What?! This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen.
Mike Patton, Trevor Dunn and the Mr bungle project is a favorite of mine. It stands alone, even now in 2019.
This is f***en MASTERPIECE!!
The song builds up so well..
I'm never quite certain about Mike Patton. Is he being honest or is he shitting me. In the end, his voice gets me every time.
i totally get what you mean
Pretty sure he's shitting you - and me - and I love it.
Yes, I understand exactly what you mean! I think it's a combination of both. And let's be real, do we really care??I just want to hear him sing
Honestly, he's shitting you.
I honestly think he's being sincere. Like discovering mr. Bungle, for me personally, I thought it was just weird goofy music. But it grew to really have an impact on me. And I think that's only possible if the artist really truly believes in what they're doing.
IDK, this may be the best song ever written.
quite simply the greatest fan-made video ever produced.
its 20+ years and this video is still wild.
Essa música é simplesmente inexplicável, é algo que mais nenhuma outra música consegue transmitir, essa música parece que veio de outro mundo. Uma das melhores músicas de todos os tempos
Aphex Twin jesus visits the Hollywood hills
Or the opposite.
He really does look like Aphex Twin haha
They came to daddy, alright.
Easily the best music video produced between the years 2001-2301.
(retrovertigo)
Agreed
Agreed
I've been listening to Bungle and other Patton themed projects for years and this is honestly the first I've actually watched this video. It's beautiful
A spark... A Community. This is legend and will be forever noticed as art that does its best to imitate life.
I've liked Mr Bungle for what seems like forever and I wish all their tracks has fan made clips like this! This nails creepiness and the general uneasy feeling of this band so well that I question the mental stability of the director! LOL Thanks for posting.
Agree,if I were a famous director I would make videos for any Mr Bungle song. Unique band and so underrated, good for us :)
Mr. Bungle
Before you advertise
All the fame is implied
With no fortune unseen
Sell the rights
To your blight
Time-machine
While I'm dulled by excess
And a cynic at best
My art imitates crime
Paid for by
The allies
So invest
Now I'm finding truth is a ruin
Nauseous end that nobody is pursuing
Staring into glassy eyes
Mesmerized
There's a vintage thirst returning
But I'm sheltered by my channel-surfing
Every famine virtual
Retro vertigo
A tribute to false memories
With conviction
Cheap…
Where the rest?
R.I.P BEN WOOLF ...WE LOVE YOU TOT
I discovered this song while I was in highs school, or to be precise, a classmate of mine who I was never close with just walked up to me and said: "hey, listen to this, song I'm so sure you'll like it. " , just out of the blue
And I did, so so much, I love it to this day.
What's weird about it is that I always was black sheep in school, never could fit in , never really talked to anyone in my class and was always on my own, it's somewhat sad looking back on it, but I'm really grateful he did tell me about Mr.Bungle that day.
It's cool that obviously you made an impression on that person that they thought of you even though you guys didn't talk.
I’ve seen this thumbnail a million times. Bungle one of my favs. Today I’ve just watched this for the first time. Amazing.
We need more of these awesome videos :D
This was perfectly made to not be shown on MTV.
Great job on the video dude Everytime I hear this I imagine this along with it.
HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT. In capitals. I just realized this video was fanmade. This song was a cathartic experience for me along with the video, but the fact it's not official makes it even more genius. It catches the feeling and meaning of this song in a so qualitative and clever way that it's almost supernatural. Hats off.
I cannot stop listening to/watching this ❤️
I love this. Matches the song perfectly.
