2024 Acura Integra Type-S //Hondata & Phearable Stage 2 Tune | Swift Lowering Springs

- In this episode of this series, we will introduce our latest project car: 2024 Acura Integra Type-S in Liquid Carbon Metallic. We kick started with a fresh Hondata and Phearable Stage 2 Tune. Then adjusting the ride height with a set of Swift Lowering Springs, bringing down the ride height for about an inch all around. We finished off with a set of 20mm Akata wheel spacers and a much needed 4-wheel alignment.
On the next episode, we will be adding some performance upgrades under the hood.

Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. Those wheels have to go asap. The car needs wider wheels minimum. Id go with some fender flush 20s
They aren't wide/aggressive enough for the overall look of the car. NOTHING wrong with what he did here, though. Wheel spacers and drop FTW!
Agreed, a lot of those aftermarket rims look like cheap rims compared to OEM. Either get something good, or just leave it OEM.
@@gw4886 I can not disagree more with this comment haha with the exception of high end exotics most OEM wheels need to be swapped ASAP. Of course not everyone has good taste in wheels so they might choose some distasteful aftermarket wheels, but then again this can be said about literally everything in life.

Hello from Montreal, have you guys done winter rims and tires on the Type S? I like to go down one size to 18 have narrower tread with a higher wall without hitting the break calliper. Winter tires are compulsory in Quebec in the winter and I plan on driving it all year round.

would you guys take delivery of a type s and mod if everything is paid for as well as time it takes for you to do so?
Id suggest spraying the wheel spacer lug nuts with some high temp flat black paint to prevent rust after putting them on
The spacers have a coating to prevent rust

If I had the money, I would personally chose the ITS as a daily driver. I just think the exhaust tuning is way better on the ITS than the CTR.

That would look a bit high I think.
I was torn between the FL5 and the ITS, and one thing I really wanted for the track and for the aggressive look is some type of prominent spoiler.@@marklopez3459

Acura specs show the ITS ground clearance is 4.0" stock. I can't imagine lowering the car any further so I'm interested in your real-life feedback of the impact of the 3" ground clearance on street driving. BTW love your channel, nice work as always.

So you can copy this exact spring setup and spacers and the factory control arms will be able to be adjusted for proper alignment? No aftermarket control arms needed?
The rear cambers are slightly out of spec due to the lowering. We will be correcting that on the upcoming video

I just picked up 2024 Type S and thinking of getting PPF on full front end. What’s your thoughts? Is it worth it?
I just installed swifts on my type s. And the fronts are creaking when going slow and turning. Sounds like the struts..i only have 1k on the struts. Also im running 275/30/18 and i was told it doesnt rub but mines seems to rub a little. Anything suggestions on what i can do?
Do you need to jailbreak the ecu for the tune?

i thought when installing springs or coilovers you supposed to wait few days or a week so the springs can settle before doing alignment?
We do our alignment right away to correct our setting, then recheck after the suspension is settled

Yes, ECU needs to be send out to Hondata for "Unlock" then you can use the Flashpro to upload @Phearable Stage 2 Tune.
