The new leaders obviously felt threatened by the hegemony of the Mau Mau and thought the best way to keep them out of contention for power was by economic disenfranchisement. The extra time in prison would have afforded the new sheriffs time to structure property rights and political access. Such a pity. It is my conviction that the fighters were more clear-headed about social organisation than the usurpers, including the few who were sent abroad with community resources to gain knowledge and return to help their homeland and colonialist collaborators. The same story across most of Africa!
His facial expression is purely of the A'Masai people. Some speak fluent Gīkūyū with an A'Kamba accent. He has also stated that his mother's people were in Kabiria in Kikuyu, Kīambu.
@p.m.ndegwa2359 "the reality of the interface" was what the A'Gīkūyū people meant by saying: Gūtirī ūtiganu wa Gīkūyū na Ūkabi. However, I voiced the saying years ago in front of fellow comrades at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA); and was shamed by an A'Maasai who called the saying "political!" 😔
1.Maybe his father ran away with him to maasai plains due to circumstances best known to him 2.He got abducted during tribal raids by maasais 3 .Guikio na kiano by kikuyu elders

This is a true Mau Mau activist and with a very sound memory 👍 He must be aware of the undefined activities of the little known Gītū wa Kahengeri 🤔
He was indeed involved in those activities.
@maumauchronicles4296 Ole Ndaiga "was indeed involved in those activities," unlike the other person.
He's not an activist he's " matigari ma mamau" those who servived

When one is drinking in quivers, kindly remember .. our heroes
People should also remember that these heroes were not drinking like fish. There were strict rules about who could drink, when.
I knew this man as a small boy,we used to call him general though I didnt kñow much abt mau mau,he is from melili narok
This is the man himself!
I leant that there are some WW2 veterans still alive. Kindly find one we would like to hear their interview.
My question is even after independent why did president kinyatta left these heroes to continue suffering in prison for more than one year??? Why??

Masi eating habits make them live longer and healthy. That's why they don't like salt and sugar.
34:11 He says he is a maasai but he speaks fluent Kikuyu language.
But he has a heavy Akamba accent.
During tribal raids kids n women would be abducted even in Kikuyu we got abducted maasais n kambas
A lot of Maasai speak Kikuyu and vice versa
His facial expression is purely of the A'Masai people. Some speak fluent Gīkūyū with an A'Kamba accent. He has also stated that his mother's people were in Kabiria in Kikuyu, Kīambu.
Welcome to the reality of the interface between Kikuyu and Masai. His mother was Kikuyu the father was Masai.

Masai's due to their eating habits where they don't use alot of salt and sugar regularly help them live a longer healthier life.
Is this medically proven?
@maumauchronicles4296 My observation though!
Uyu arì wa gutahùo e munini
Not necessarily. He says he is Maasai. He is.
Was it worth it to lose all these people just to be betrayed by their own and for the country to be where it is now?
They brought forth the freedom, you are enjoying now. Even to write and express this your opinion.

1.Maybe his father ran away with him to maasai plains due to circumstances best known to him
2.He got abducted during tribal raids by maasais
3 .Guikio na kiano by kikuyu elders
He was not abducted. He is Maasai and says so himself. Even today, there are many Maasai who speak fluent Kikuyu.
@maumauchronicles4296 are they the so called Durubus commonly referred to by kikuyus or kaputeis reffered to by maasais
