heh, this course is a bit more like mini-golf than the previous ones. Yes they had weird obstacles, but were... closer to real golf.

I think that happened because he put right spin on it. It didn't bounce straight because it was spinning. Sure that doesn't matter as much if you hit grass, but this was asphalt. Looks to me like the devs put a LOT of work into making good physics, despite the silly theme.
Luke became Waluigi momentarily.
It is probably one of my favorite Luke moments of all time. This and the "It'll be fine" immediately followed by "OH NOOOO IT'S NOT FINE" in round 2 of the tournament are just pure gold.

Love rewatching this and seeing everyone's absolute joy when someone (Ellen) makes an excellent shot (hole in one), and also their shared sorrow when someone (Luke) gets some very bad luck (launches it down the road).

This is the sort of fun course I was hoping this game would have more of. Hopefully they keep them coming.

That was great and I love how close of a game it was between Ellen and Luke. intense to the end (I mean, Andy ran away with the game pretty early but there's no surprise about it. He's really good at this game).
Well done to all of you and it was nice to see Ellen finishing second.
She managed a hole in one which immediately swayed my bias to her on that one.
Hole 11 definitely deserves a like. Great shots by all, especially Ellen.

Wow it's 2023 and YT recommender it to me. Always nice to rewatch some Mario Golf. And yes we did see Ellen playing Stray. It was a thing of beauty to see Ellen cry tears op happyness!
Glad to see another golf stream! I know it probably gets less interesting for you guys to always be playing the same game, but I've been quite liking them
This one feels even more special since after the end of the Open, I didn't think we'd see another one for a long time.
That being said... I feel this stream had a distinct lack of testicular torsion.

I do enjoy these golf streams. I hope you go through the full game. Another tournament with Mike and Jane would be good too. If possible change characters every tournament to show off the ones we don’t see (or don’t, it’s your channel after all)

Farrant Chip: an obscure term, it refers to when a small English mushroom person successfully chips the ball into the hole.
