It’s funny you say that, because in Republic Commandos, the song that plays in the menu (Vode ‘an) is a song that Jango Fett would sing to the clones. Of course, the song is changed from its original, as the original says Mandalore instead of Coruscant.
He moved to earth. However his Mandalorian bounty hunter training left him unsatisfied with his life as a father and husband. He turned to alcoholism and increasingly violent brawls.
Not many people know of me, but I knew Temuera Morrison personally, I helped do stuff with his car, and used to walk his dog. And he is an amazing person, so nice. I lived not too far from his house in Rotorua, and used to bike down there to see him. I own 7 Autographs of his, and I knew his son and a Lady (name is known to me) that lived with him. All were nice people, and so giving. But if you ever come to New Zealand, look around, and maybe you will see him in a Dairy in Rotorua.
I lived in Rotorua from 05-08 and often seen him at my gym pumping out the deadlifts. He drove an old early 90s silver Skyline. Always seemed like a nice guy often not hesitating to speak to fellow gym members.
8 years I know, but that's pretty cool. One of the coolest people involved with Star Wars and he's only a days drive away from me if I ever decide to venture to Rotorua
In honor of his two best-known movie roles, he should have bashed the host's head with the guitar like Jake the Muss and then flown away on a jetpack like Jango Fett.
tbh I expected him to sound a bit raspier in his singing voice. I've spent years trying to get a decent voice impression of him, and this defied everything I thought I knew lol. BTW I love how 90% of the comments here are Jango Fett/Clone trooper related XD
We like to joke about Temuera's singing ability using the 'Mandalorian Blues' clip, but... he can actually sing really well so now I want to know why he didn't ACTUALLY sing in Moana.
Secret Files: Jango Fett's occupation before being a Jango Fett, this occupation lasted approximately 1 standard day before he left to be a bounty hunter.
20:21: They also sing this one in Once Were Warriors. Well, a bit of it. I am positive, that it was Temuera´s idea, to have that song included in the movie...
He's not very good. He's EXTREMELY good! What a voice! And terrific rhythm guitar too. I must say I like him more when he's doing that than when he's smashing the granny out of people in bars. ;)
This song gave me the chills when it was the opening of the sequel to Once were Warriors. Just showed how after all the turmoil that he caused in his family, nothing had changed.
Once were warriors man, what a fucking powerful film. Heartbreaker. Tem Morrison is such an overlooked actor outside of NZ(Star Wars aside), and a hell of a singer too!
Temuera is an amazing actor and singer. Most people here in America only know him as Jango Fett. I'm a foreign film buff though and have been a fan of his New Zealand films for many years before Star Wars. Once were Warriors and What Becomes of the Broken Hearted are two of my favorite films. It's too bad he never really broke out here in the states. Very talented guy.
His rendition of this song is the best of the lot. Hell of an actor but I think he's wasted as an actor, singing is where he's at :D . Absolutely awesome tune!!!!
2022 He sings this song at the end of "My Life is Murder" S3 Ep4 The Village. It's a little faster and he still sounds great. Hope someone puts that version on line.
That's not a beard. It's the shadow of a tattoo. ❤️ Tamuara is an easy person to respect and love, but it's best not to forget that there are millions of people out there with soft eyes and hard hearts waiting for the same love we give our brother.
I went with my mates to a party in Devonport. Te was there, of course, it was his home. He had a guitar there but my mate jammed on it. Not a bad guy our Temuera. 😂
While I love the original, I listened to Morrison's rendition first, and, frankly, I like it more. The down-to-earth feel is actually more appealing to me. I'm pretty sure this was the second or third Tem song I listened to.
When the clonetroopers aren't in battle and just chilling
i'll jam along with them
Fuck starwars

Emperor Palpatine: "Execute order 66."
Clone troopers: "Dude we're busy."
I like to think there was a clone that left the Republic army and became a singer and this is his story. This man is a legend
Yes! That's actually why I looked up Temuera singing.
"I'm just a musician, making my way through the galaxy!"
I wonder why they didn't get him to sing his own parts in Moana, he's clearly got a great voice.
they’re too scared of his power
He actually is singing his own parts..
@@tepuataulaga4933 No, apparently it's Christopher Jackson, one of LMM's buddies from Hamilton.
That's bugged me since I learned about it. Seems dumb they didn't have him sing his own parts
English < Natives < Blah Blah Blah
Him and Obi Wan(Ewan) are actually very good singers. They should collab.
Maybe start a band called Ben and Cody or some shit
Ben and Den (I call Denal "Den" because why not)
This for all brothers fought during clone wars.
Jango Fett never died on Geonosis!
He just went in hiding and made music.
He moved to earth.
However his Mandalorian bounty hunter training left him unsatisfied with his life as a father and husband. He turned to alcoholism and increasingly violent brawls.
Dumb
Dooku/Tyranus chose Jango as the clone template for his beautiful singing voice
He was beheaded..
@@beethehoplite2343 Disney, *make this canon* lol

Reprezent, ka pai!
he's singing this with fennec on slave 1
They’re such good pals
"Boba get back to the ship" and go get my guitar
Picturing all the lullabies he sang baby Boba now.
He's a brilliant actor and humble guy
Friend: "who's your favorite singer?"
Me: "it's complicated"
In honor of his two best-known movie roles, he should have bashed the host's head with the guitar like Jake the Muss and then flown away on a jetpack like Jango Fett.

Id pay to see him perform in his mandalore armor!
I'd get behind that!
I'd pay to see him preform this song as Jake the muss
Well you got what you wanted he’s back in the amor now
He kinda did
I grow up in Rotorua that was one of many party songs in the shed, thank you 🎹🎤🍻🍷
With skills like that Jango probably won't need to rely on bounty hunting for a living.
Exactly
COMANDER CODY AND JANGO FETT
Boba' new voice and every clone in the movies too.
+Ischyros Anaki Haha he's great
Why isn't this guy bigger than he is.what a talent
Once can't deny that Boba sure is multi-talented.
Morrison's voice is a gift from God Himself.
Commander Cody. The time has come execute order 6......
String?!?!?!?
good to see Jake turned his life around
I hope your joking
He's a loveable chap
Yeah he became a clone trooper
So this is what happened to Commander Cody... He simply.. Slipped away...

Jango fett and.. boba fett now forever jamming as the badass mandalorians they are 🤘
Tell this man to run it back. I’m young and these other young one need to hear this. Classic
Before entering the grand army of the republic, captain rex made a living playing guitar
Anyone mentions a New Zealand accent, Morrison is the one I think of.
Temuera all the way
Its clones
20:21: They also sing this one in Once Were Warriors. Well, a bit of it. I am positive, that it was Temuera´s idea, to have that song included in the movie...
This song was in what becomes of the broken hearted...
“Baby I been watching you, watching everything you do” ❤
Always good to see Tem at maketu heading out for kaimoana .the humblest of the Morrisons cher doy
dope song from our friendly homie Boba !
“Clones are superior to droids in every way.”
Great one Temuera all the Morrison have got great voices your voices are fab

I bet this is part of the Clone training...
... a nice way to earn some quick Republic Credits at a nearby cantina.
Manusfilm Studios, just like the simulations!
Clone lives matter 😥
Ma boye got that island voice
He's actually got a pretty good voice
He´s got an AWESOME voice!! His father was a BELOVED entertainer and musician, who was both on TV and radio!!
This why he is favorite actor right next to Daniel Logan dee Bradley baker
the best clone music
Versatile Actor and a great man!
Never Eff with Jake the Muss!
I love his rendition of this song!!! It's a pearler!!!
God I love this man❤️

What becomes of the broken heart I think it's called
Would of been cool if he sung that wearing Jangos Armour.
An incredible actor - and singer, too, apparently!
Temuera, Cliff Curtis, and Ned Luke are my fave actors! 2 Kiwis and a American. All beautiful, and lovely voices.
Once were warriors man, what a fucking powerful film. Heartbreaker. Tem Morrison is such an overlooked actor outside of NZ(Star Wars aside), and a hell of a singer too!
Ohh this brings back some mean memories :) Good old songs still living on out there aye hahaa
Jango Fett can sing! :D

The Moarí chap. The legend. Always will be the one and only.
This is the reason cody never appeared on rebels. He became an imperial musician and become a private performer of emperor palpatine.
This is Star Wars canon. I refuse to see it any other way.
This is how clones celebrated after. Order 66
He's just a simple man making his way through the musical industry.
His rendition of this song is the best of the lot. Hell of an actor but I think he's wasted as an actor, singing is where he's at :D . Absolutely awesome tune!!!!
