@@emilyfralick4719 They said the intention with Midas was to recreate that live sound to a degree. It definitely sounds messier than the first record (in a good way). I agree with you though.
Man, in such a dishonest and fake world, sometimes Wunderhorse live is the only thing that seems real to me. Am I the only one who feels this way? The emotion and tremor in Jakob‘s voice sure is real, Teal was next level here wow.
Seen these guys twice, honestly one of the greatest and most pure bands I’ve ever seen and heard. Only love for these boys, hope they never lose their spark because it’s really something special,
Whoever the engineers were, you deserve a medal (or at least a raise). It's very difficult to capture that kind of intense sound and the rest of their live sessions don't quite get there, even if they sound good
Haha glad I‘m not the only one thinking that. It’s his unmistakable style though, like if not I’d be like something‘s wrong. Such an underrated guitarist!
Shoutout to my roommate who listened to these guys in the shower one day. I heard it, leaned into the bathroom door and shazam'd it because they sounded too good.
Les conocí porque fueron teloneros de Fontaines y de verdad que me he enamorado de su música. Me he escuchado toda su discografía y me encantan. Me encantaría ir a verles tienen una sensibilidad única y su VOZ ES GENIAL, me parece que canta porque lo siento y se ensimisma muchísimo es como hipnótico 😭. Abrazos desde España
I was playing at the mercury lounge the same day as them last year, got absolutely fucking plastered and ended up in the greenroom way past when i was supposed to leave. I have no memory if I talked to them or not haha

i would listen to these guys for eternity and it still feels it won't be quite enough
i don’t think i could have described my love for this band any better than this
They’re excellent. Brilliant live too.
My addiction ta teal is severely unhealthy☺️,also Jacob is all over my Pinterest 😁😁
Listen to dead pretties, the singer jacob slater was in this band and it was his peak.
I can't get enough of his live vocal performances. He has so many variations in delivery that sound effortless and honest.
honestly i prefer the live versions over the studio ones
Beautifully put!
@@okb2234 same, they sound so much better live
The only band I can think of that is so much better live. They should record live like this fr

This is just unbelievable. Props to the sound guys too! They sound fantastic.
Thanx
Definitely. Sound quality is as good as the tunes. Both are important.
I discovered these guys at the end of November and they made it into my Top 5 wrapped, which shows how much I love them

what i love about jacob and the band so dearly is how authentic they are man it’s just insanely exciting

I didn’t feel like crying today but here we are listening to teal again
At 2:17 you can see his face go from normal to fully red in just this one shout, goes to show how much he's feeling the music
So simple and so powerful. What a band!
Incredible energy and tight playing from these guys. The last verse of Teal always makes me cry inside.

best version of teal EVER, absolutely blown away, what a band
Every song is elevated in their live recordings. Unbelievably good.
The scream / Dutch angle combo at 5:48 might be the best thing ever
Harry always snoozing 💤🔥🔥
Haha glad I‘m not the only one thinking that. It’s his unmistakable style though, like if not I’d be like something‘s wrong. Such an underrated guitarist!
@ Adds to his style, what a legend
Their performances are so strong and confident. One of the best around at the moment by far, big things in 2025
Unreal set, great song picks and Slater is an animal behind a mic
Another tight AF set from the UK band of the moment. Seen them twice live ... just epic! 💙
Fantastic set capturing a band that's been a favorite since I first saw them live a couple years ago. Thanks to everyone involved.
Midas is such a tune! 🔥
Jacob slater is one in a billion. Trully generational
Amazing session and sound!
Thanx
Such a blistering performance. Incredible.
Just exquisite the best live guitar band on this planet
DIIV enters the chat.....
thank you for these perfect live vocal performances! genuinely unreal and can not stop listening
Midas is one of the top albums of 2024!!!
Shoutout to my roommate who listened to these guys in the shower one day. I heard it, leaned into the bathroom door and shazam'd it because they sounded too good.
best live session yet

We’ve heard these three chords a million times before but they make ‘em sound earnest and fresh. Midas has to be the best song of ‘24!
Man this is the best band I’ve heard in a long time! Proper passionate talent 👌 I hope they get all the credit they deserve.
Best band around at the moment.
Something about their live music man
Best band in the world right now idc
such a great band.
seeing them in Seattle USA in February !
Great songwriting
Insane
The mix of the audio goes wiiiiild
Thanx
Holy SHIT these guys are good
Jesus H.. Teal is a masterpiece
Why don’t they ever play Atlantis!? It’s there best tune in my opinion
I agree but this is the first time I see someone else saying this :(
Apparently they’ve never played it live 🥲🥲
fucking unreal, the lot
RIP Dead Pretties but I had no idea wunderhorse blew up like this good for them. Shame needs more recognition though als.
Tight as fuck!!
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Wow
Te gekke band EN sessie ♥
Wow
did the singer and the drummer have a fight before this?
did you guys have the band plugged into a DI or record instrument audio through mics?
Real amps and real mics
I was playing at the mercury lounge the same day as them last year, got absolutely fucking plastered and ended up in the greenroom way past when i was supposed to leave. I have no memory if I talked to them or not haha
2:28 :o
If you like the riffs on Rain I recommend you search for a brazilian rock band called Legião Urbana, it’s soooo similar
Rain is some rip off of lucid dreams by Fontaines DC
Nah I don’t hear it. In fact, I think despite the constant comparisons Fontaines DC and Wunderhorse are both excelling, but each in their own way.
then don’t listen to it
fontaines hot garbage - wunderhorse much better.
@@loganpark2276couldn’t of said it better
