This was just...incredible. In the beginning, I thought he's just making some really cool stunts and defying physics. Then Stuge started to fly through the parkour. I couldn't believe what I saw... It was just amazing.
I thought the thumbnail looked cool so i said.. meh might as well and in like the first 8 second my jaw slammed into the floor.. BRAVO i wish i could do that
Unfortunately Jake, your observation is incorrect. There is no tailstrike. I actually checked for that in the replay 100%. The viewing angle gives a false impression. ;)
The planning that did take must have been pretty extensive, at first I thought the fleet was just there because it looks cool, but also integrating that in the display is a really nice Idea ! And I stopped to count the "It looks pretty non recoverable, but I guess the video wouldn't exist then"-moments I had through out the video. :D Piece of art level: achieved
WOW that's super impressive!! Looks totally under control at all times - awesome. Still done with simplified flight model? Hell, everyone who's been in a Su-27 and got into a flat spin inadvertently or tried a Cobra will agree... Unbelievable!! 👍👍👍
HOLY BONKERS... I just had an emotional roller coaster. Jaw dropping. I am starting to question the FM and my perceptions of what is realistic :O that asymmetrical thrust control :O
Yes, zero fuel weight + unlimited fuel. I decided it was necessary to complete that dramatic takeoff and vertical climb, to have high enough thrust-to-weight. But... think of it as a stripped-down aerobatic prototype aircraft instead :)))
very impressive, accurate fly, and by the numerous shows IRL i saw/was, none of these "miracle" was unreal......maybe the oil rig, and that's just for risky reasons, not feasability! once more, "chapeau bas, messieurs !"
A.W.E.S.O.M.E. as hell, really! I recommend everyone to buy this module and try to fly this - sorry for that - very user unfriendly airplane. I can't believe my eyes that you can handle it like a boss all the time. Like!
Dude like damn, I still can't believe how easily you got out of that upside down flat fall and got the control at the right time. I love flanker, it's really good plane. Although amazing skills. Like and sub.
O.M.G! That was AMAZING! How could any other western fighter (except the F22 maybe?) ever beat one of these in a dogfight, given that AMAZING manoeuvrability? Awesome video and doubly awesome flying Stuge! :-)
I'm glad you liked the show :) to the question of beating it in a dogfight.. it depends. Pilot skill is a bigger deciding factor than just maneuverability. Weapons capability is a big factor too. And WEIGHT is a critical factor for the Su-27: if you load it with full 9 tons of internal fuel and a full 10 missile loadout it turns worse than pretty much anything, as its internal fuel capacity is extremely large, making it too heavy!
Yeh, totally, pilot skill is definitely a bigger deciding factor, and agreed about weight and weapons as well. But none the less, that was some spectacular flying! :-) BTW, I shared this video on FB, and a friend of mine who is a PROFESSIONAL video editor said (and I quote) "Oh, my gosh, that is so terrifying I couldn't even keep watching. Holy crap. Footage is from drone cameras nearby?" - she did not even realize this was NOT real world footage, so that's a big tick to ED/DCS for producing such an amazing game, graphically speaking!
Wow, and this is the dated graphics engine too :D Now that 2.5 is out... the game really does look mind blowing and you finally feel that you are "there" when you fly around Caucasus.
Great flying, indeed! :D But tell me, be true, was that "almost crash" at 3:08 really designed into the demo, or were you at first expecting to make an inverted recover and suddenly had an "oh shit... it's not gonna work..." realization and "ggnnnnnhhhhh..... PPHHEEEWWW" managed to pull it off? Yeah, I know that feeling too ;)
Yeah the inverted stall before the "almost crash" wasn't intended, that's why the close call. The sequence isn't fully planned, it includes some improvisation.
Jesus, that's some pretty impressive flying. Holy smokes! Did you do it all in one take, or did you splice together a few flights? Either way, nice work!
You have the right idea.... I did splice it by replaying a good take, taking control at some point where I wanted to make it better, then repeating the process until the whole flight was in a single replay to be played. After this, the same process was repeated for camera angles alone, to sync perfectly with the music. This enabled having multiple "extra" cool things happening in the flight, which would be pretty much impossible to create with a single take. But it is a single replay within the game engine, there is no video cutting involved.
Not all the time. During "normal turns" like the split-S, level turns around the oil rig, during all straight flight, the final approach and landing, the limiter is on to have a smooth turn and straight flight :)
Why not? But were it real life, I'd prefer to have a thrust vectored Flanker variant to try any of this, and a little bit more altitude as a safety buffer :)
Why aren't you flying drones somewhere? Like not necessarily military drones, but still you could probably make some decent money if this is an accurate flight sim and the skills translate well.
I actually got my first real drone a few months ago and it's an absolute wonder to fly! However, I'm graduating as medical doctor, so that's going to pay a bit better I think... so aviation remains on a fun/hobby level. :)
This was just...incredible. In the beginning, I thought he's just making some really cool stunts and defying physics. Then Stuge started to fly through the parkour. I couldn't believe what I saw... It was just amazing.
Mega skills Stugey! Out of this world mate, impressive doesn't even come close to describing this!
I'm glad you guys like it, took a while to make :)
LOH IMPOTENT KLASSNAYA MUZON
Which throttle used, and how about same in MiG-29 now? :) please please! :D
Still alive buddy?
@Aiman Shah joystick and double throttle. J-11 best flanker atm
was this done with the old flight model or the new one?
I’m actually speechless...
Play WT Brad
A tip: watch series at kaldrostream. I've been using it for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Barrett Jamie yup, have been watching on kaldrostream for years myself :)
@Barrett Jamie Definitely, I have been using kaldrostream for months myself =)
@Barrett Jamie yea, I have been watching on Kaldrostream for years myself :D
are u even a real human anymore? this was so insane
Super tricky aircraft awesome skills mate keep it up :)
Beautiful..like a ballet.
Thank you for sharing.
the last part of the video kept me attached to the monitor! 🔥
I thought the thumbnail looked cool so i said.. meh might as well and in like the first 8 second my jaw slammed into the floor.. BRAVO i wish i could do that
Wow that is amazing.
Waouh, Amazing Thank you
best 27 pilot you are for sure
Unfortunately Jake, your observation is incorrect. There is no tailstrike. I actually checked for that in the replay 100%. The viewing angle gives a false impression. ;)
Nice!! Congrats...
Wouaw incredible
This is epic.
This was worth the watch. Thumbs up for absolutely spectacular flying Stuge. Just top rate.

WOW awesome
Holy crap, dude. Good show. That's some pretty dope moves!
Wow this must have taken so long to make! Awesoem
Wow that was reeeally impressive 👍👍👍
WOW that's super impressive!! Looks totally under control at all times - awesome. Still done with simplified flight model? Hell, everyone who's been in a Su-27 and got into a flat spin inadvertently or tried a Cobra will agree... Unbelievable!! 👍👍👍
Most of these maneuvers would be impossible to do with SFM :)
I’m gobsmacked, speechless.. That was AWESOME!!!
Super impressive maneuvering!
Fantastic flying and video Stuge!
HOLY BONKERS... I just had an emotional roller coaster. Jaw dropping. I am starting to question the FM and my perceptions of what is realistic :O
that asymmetrical thrust control :O
Is this with minimum fuel and unlimited fuel ? no way :O
Yes, zero fuel weight + unlimited fuel. I decided it was necessary to complete that dramatic takeoff and vertical climb, to have high enough thrust-to-weight. But... think of it as a stripped-down aerobatic prototype aircraft instead :)))
I think it was necessary to complete all of these nail biters. Good stuff
Thx :)
god damn it 😮😮😮😮😮😮... this is incredible👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

wow, this is mastery of the su 27
Very proud, Stugey! Mind blowing. S!
oh Lord, that landing !! congratulations very impressive
That was insane!
very, very impressive
Holy shit some serious precision flying there.
WOW!!! That was like watching a Ken Block Gymkhana video squared.
Congrats !!! Best performance on youtube...
man Stuge another level of Ctrl I've got a few variation of the cornea down but this is insane
Dude like damn, I still can't believe how easily you got out of that upside down flat fall and got the control at the right time. I love flanker, it's really good plane. Although amazing skills. Like and sub.
awsome badass flyin

Wow. I never thought about that. Time for you to reshoot that clip in 2.5 :-)
awesomme, the music made it form e.
this!
instantly grabs module
You would never outmanouver this guy in a dogfight!
Unfortunately nowadays sometimes they do. I'm getting old....
wow.
How did you use a single engine to provoke flat spin? That was badass.
Great flying, indeed! :D But tell me, be true, was that "almost crash" at 3:08 really designed into the demo, or were you at first expecting to make an inverted recover and suddenly had an "oh shit... it's not gonna work..." realization and "ggnnnnnhhhhh..... Yeah the inverted stall before the "almost crash" wasn't intended, that's why the close call. The sequence isn't fully planned, it includes some improvisation.
Still sick tho! Nice recovery.
GG
cool flying, are you there?
Jesus, that's some pretty impressive flying. Holy smokes!

drift aéreo 😁
Amazing! How to recover from inverted flat spin?
Differential Throttle
ua-cam.com/video/sWGjdtKv2kk/v-deo.html :)
So inverted flat spin is recoverable..? ;)
Would be awesome if the game simulated rooster tails. When you fly super close to the water and it gets thrown up behind you.
How do i deactivate fly by wire
oh yeah I'm Roofies super bad azz
Damn
How did you control the thrust for individual engines?
Single throttle, keyboard modifiers. Alt Gr for left one, RCtrl for right one :)
Are these moves possible with a real aircraft?
Why not? But were it real life, I'd prefer to have a thrust vectored Flanker variant to try any of this, and a little bit more altitude as a safety buffer :)
Dude how to open or make smoke trail ?
1) Load smoke pods on your hard points 2) Press T
@@tuomaslehtinen8462 thnx dude
Can you make a video explaining how to do it? please.
sry for late reply, so much on our plate atm. we will look into that, I'll poke stuge into doing a tutorial ;-) might take a while though
No problem. I can wait, unless you are like, ED delivery things.
wo

Stuge come to104th never see u anymore
Now, do it in real life
Ill delete after u were gone on TS when i got back
only way i knew to find u
3:04 не крутой момент, а ошибка в пилотаже, просто ужасная ошибка.
This plane doesn't know physics
😂☠😂☠😂
check mine btw -> flanker 2.5 aerobatics
