Glad you enjoyed MV. The tour to Square Tower Is somewhat new. I have seen it from above many times. Sadly now, 72 and have very little balance. Long and Step house are great over there. My #1 is Balcony House, to get out and back up, you have to crawl through two of those small doors, and there are ladders and steps like coming, out of Square Tower. To get up into Balcony, you have a double 2 story ladder to climb up. I camped just across the state like, UT for 24 yrs. Love it down in that area. Another great area South of there is Chaco Canyon. The ruins are unbelievable. Check out some on You Tube. Believe the sings going in, if it rains or wet from snow. Don't try the 24 miles of dirt road. There is a camp area there. I would say 3 day and nights there.
Mesa Verde has some of the best tours. I am glad we chose more than one and there is always something more to see. We will be back. Thanks for watching!
Loved watching your videos..Frank and all. Fun watching you learn what makes things work, Mesa Verde..not danelion..Milkweed. Press on!!! We call our lives Secret Adventures..you never know what's coming around the next corner,, We're in our 80s.
Great video! we've visited MV almost 20 years ago and your video reminded us how beautiful this place is. And voilà, we are going back to there again this summer! Thanks for the inspiration😉
That's awesome! I wonder how much, if anything, has changed in that time. Some of the most beautiful mountain towns around Silverton and Ouray are just north of Mesa Verde. Worth a visit if you have the time.
The second tour looked a little easier terrain, would you say that’s true? They both look amazing. Traveling with kids so wondering which would be better
Great video. We've been watching your videos all winter and love your vibe. Question: If you had to pick one tour, (and you didn't have the advantage of your fantastic guide) which one did you like best?
Thank you for watching! If we had to pick a tour, Long House would be the one. You can go at your own pace and walk through the structure with presumably less crowds than Cliff Palace.
How hard do you think it was to get down the trail there and those ladders for Square Tower House? We're in reasonably fit shape but we're going to be here a few days before hiking rim-to-rim at the Grand Canyon and I do not want to do something stupid and get hurt lol. Was it really hard, or not that hard for you?
RE: beginning of the video. That is so gross you guys! LOL. And that is not how you remove something from your eye. Close infected eye. Hold/touch both upper and lower lashes of the infected eye gently move your fingers left to right so as to bring the debris to the side and create some moisture. Open eye, debris should be on edge of eye and gently brush off. This way you are not touching your fingers directly in the eyeball.
Night Eagle is a legend , Ive been a private guide at Mesa Verde for years and I always love running into him.
Absolutely Awesome 👍🙏😇. Your tour guide is Adorable 😆. God Bless Him🙏. And of course You Both🙏😇❤️😘
What a great video. 🙂
By far, your best video ever! I've watched them all, and this is #1!
Congratulations on reaching "50" National Parks.
Wow, thanks! We had a lot of fun on these tours. Just one more park to go!
Nicely done, thank you for sharing.
This was very enjoyable
Wow! Well Done! Thank You!

Sorry, just seen you were in Choco. I'll have to watch it.

I personally think each dwelling is great. I think Oak Tree House to me is easily the best one though. Pottery laying everywhere there.

If you can hike rim to rim in the Grand Canyon then I would say this trail is a walk in the park. This trail is perfect for kids. Have so much fun!!
@@SOSASATSUNRISE thanks!
