Really beautiful IKEA paper bin clone :D if I wouldn't already have the Meshlicious, I would go for the Jonsbo. I'm not sure though if it would fit in my backpack like the Mesh does
Looks awesome, it does solve some of the issues I am having with my meshy at the moment - sometimes the slight size compromise is worth it! Keep it the awesome vids man!
Great review. Very similar to the Meshlicious, but has the extra features and size to make it more build-friendly. I agree on your conclusion that if Jonsbo cases were more widely available, they would give a certain other vendor a run for their money. I've often wanted to get one, but in North America it's a P.I.T.A. to get one.
I just bought a custom gaming PC from a local shop that was built in this case... after getting it home and learning more about it I'm glad I decided on this and not a commercial machine.
Are you seeing abnormal temperatures on that card when mounting it IO side up? I've read it's a potential problem for cases like this or the xtia xproto, where heatpipes won't perform well when the cards are facing up, leading to overheating issues. A simple way to test would be to flip the case on its side (perhaps with some makeshift feet to allow for airflow). Fantastic videos !
There is very little information online about this topic, probably because hardly any cases use this orientation. I really hope to get to the bottom of this myself because I REALLY like the esthetics of this case.
@@Zombie101 they do! I have the same Strix card model on this video ua-cam.com/video/bUQhJ7DD9cw/v-deo.html. Can confirm the card overheats when the IO shield is facing up, I run an xproto L and the flip module is needed to have the IO downside.
I love everything about the cases design, but there is one flaw that causes me to turn to meshilicious. It only supports up to a 325mm card. The new 4090s are going to exceed that on air cooled cards. Meshilicious will fit a 336mm card, so the suprim 4090 will fit snuggly.
Jonsbo, alright! Sweet build. Glad you used a 280mm AIO to check if it actually supports one comfortably. Love the pre-folded riser cable. Quite often Jonsbo has the interesting ideas but less-than-perfect execution, glad to see they flipped the script for once. The VR2 looked good and I liked the concept at the time, but was merely okay. Double glass, but also tinted pretty dark, weird use of space... not great. The VR3 is pretty awesome by comparison. Now I wonder if they'll make a combination of the VR2 and VR3, like a Jonsbo version of H1V1 but with less fire (or zombie virus?). I'd also love to see more of the D30 matx. We do get their cases here in Europe in various stores, and Caseking is their official EU outlet I believe. Their color variations don't always make it here though, and it takes a while for their stuff to show up.
Wonder if anyone could make this type of case where the gpu position is swapped with the aio. That way when its on your desk, you can see your mobo, rbg ram and side profile of gpu on one side. Hehe. Wanna see hard earned parts together instead of gpu hiding behind. Btw thanks GearSeekers for the great content. Love em white builds❤
I would like to use an arctic 280mm aio in this case but dont know if i could fit it because of the thickness dimension of the radiator, im using an itx board btw if that makes any difference.
Love it, Thanks, Love the front I/0 made simple, & with a PCIE 4.0 Riser saving £80 odd but the Type C is going to be limited on Speed due to the joint connection to the 20 pin USB 3.0 connection So I may have to Mod a native type C cable to the frame. Got this Case delivered today, I Can just fit an Arctic freezer II AIO 240mm 38cm thick Rad with the 25cm fans mounted in the front. Build Finished, Arctic freezer II AIO 240mm Rad hoses/barbs can only go down bottom due to the case layout/frame, 8pin CPU & 24PIN Cable are under the motherboard & PCI-E Cable going into the hole below the motherboard tray .
I've been considering changing the chassis my itx rig is in to something new to change things up a bit. I was hard set on the SSUPD until watching this. This is $50 USD cheaper through Newegg and comes with a Gen4 riser
Looks like the mesh will be an issue for the cpu thermals and possibly also gpu thermals when stressing the components for a longer time. Again comaring to the SSUPD the ssupd is almost perfectly see through while you can barely see through the mesh of the jonsbo. Also the top of the SSUPD is mesh so heat can escape that way too.
Meshlicious wins because of GPU orientation. With the GPU oriented in this case so that the GPU cables come out the top, the heatpipes don’t work properly so the GPU runs way hotter. Flip the case upside down so the GPU points downward and the GPU temps will drop 15-20C in just a few seconds.
Great vid. Could do with a smaller case. Have you tried the ZS A4? I heard it's local there in Australia. I was lucky to get one here in my country for cheap. It's also a sliding case. Sub 8L.
I have bought a meshilicious on ebay a few days ago but the seller hasn't posted it yet. If that seller is a scam I might be getting one of those as another option.
Thx for the video, but could you consider changing your background for a slightly darker tint when shooting a completely white case like this? My eyes are kind burned out by now und its really hard to make out any details of the case. thx again from germany :-)
Could you technically slide in the cage flipped so the GPU IO is facing down? Or just turn the case around? The temps should be WAY better in that orientation and that would be a dealbreaker for me if you couldn't.
Why didn't you put the fans on the other side of the Rad? If you had RGD Fans, is that an option? Wondering if it was a choice or a limitation of the case.
Hi nick! Could You please make a build in Be Quiet black 802 airflow case with NZXT RGB fans if possible? It looks great in my mind, im about to make some upgrades, and i would love to see how could it look before im gonna start messing around with it, Cheers!
I think the Meshlicious is the better case for 2 reasons: the modular mobo tray and the vented top panel. Also from a personal opinion, since i was looking at the Meshlicious to do a custom loop, i dislike the placement of the top I/O here.
Seriously what is up with these ITX cases to offer excatly 32.5cm GPU clearence? I was expecting this one to offer at least 34 or 35cm considering the size. The next gen cards are defnitely going to be huge, hot and power hungry so this might rule out most of the 70ti and above class nvidia cards. I think I might have to go back to a mid tower for a GPU upgrade next gen. DIsappointed.
@@zzgus yes i tryed it works. i know you can set the motherbord in bios but you cannot set the ryser, however the ryser is just a cable, if it can holds enough energy for pci4, it can do it for pci3 without issue.
Beware this case has 2 fatal flaws. One is the aio pump is located higher than a 240, 280cm radiator, trapping bubble in pump. 2nd is thermal performance. Some GPUs overheat greatly when mounted vertically with IO facing up, due to copper pipe design. The only fix is to try mount it or flip the case any other direction than gpu io facing up.
I wonder how this case would be with a RTX 4090 FE in it. Would the airflow be restricted because of the plate that separates the GPU side from the MB side. If anyone has tried it please let me know.
Could you fit a micro ATX case in this? I have a 5600G with an MSI B450 Mortar Max that I use in a secondary system and I can see that there is a brace about halfway down the front rad mounting that would most likely block but could be cut out. Has anyone done such a mod? Or would it just be beter to wait for the Meshroom S to be released?
Can you please build a developer Computer ITX with no Graphics Card. i9 12th Generation. Use Case: Web Development, NodeJS, Docker Desktop etc., (NO Games). Thanks
Weird seeing atx psu support in itx cases but when rtx 4000 series is about to pull a million watts i guess you need it 🤣 i judt want to see more cases focused on mAtx boards. Theres a few good ones but focus on mAtx first and itx second and someone could make a perfect case!
I think bigger means it's right away not better. Maybe easier to build in because of the design but meshlicious is unbeatable right now imo. Also you can't run rgb fans in the front without having some of the rgb blocked off by this case while the meshlicious has the separate plates. You can fit larger gpus in the meshlicious to. They day up to whatever but people are running even gaming x trio cards in it no problem. I wanna buy the mesh but I need an itx board to and car stuff is priority for the next few weeks lol.

Can't help but think this case looks like a desk bin
In the bin!
A very expensive trash, inside.
Great for the trash components that’ll get thrown in there
Nah. More like a white speaker!
Very nice bin. RGB bin!
Jonsbo has been making some really nice cases.
I was looking for a well ventilated case for a possible media/HTPC and this might be the winner for me. Thanks for the great review. Love your videos.
How did i miss that gundam GPU in your other vids. That thing's GORGEOUS.
Also the VR3 solves my biggest problem with the Mesh, the display cables.

What's better ? Phanteks Evolv Shift XT or Jonsbo VR3?
I like how the mesh looks. In a way you're two cases in one. Pull out the frame and you have an open air case.
Great stuff. Love the Asus Gundam/Zeon stuff
Jonsbo has some great cases, a shame that it's harder to buy and on aliexpress the shipping is more expensive than the case lol

Do the Jonsbo V10. Mean Watercooling possibilities. And it looks amazing.
The irony with the sibilance in the MSI ad...

Just a noob question, when you install the aio. What way of airflow you put it on. Intake or just suck out the hot air to the front?

did he say that we can fit a atx motherborard and full size power supply?
There are no magnetic dust filters, right?
7:26 the topmost part of the radiator is only slightly higher than the pump. Wouldn't it deteriorate the AIO in the long run?
i just purchased it on amazon.
Looks like it needs a sticker on it that says "Rheem" and put it in the backyard to heat the house.
How do you think this case would do with a 4090 FE given it’s flow through cooler design?
oof that RAM bending from the AIO tubes...
Strange that the width is quite a bit more than the meshlicious but only fits 70mm height block.
