Hey Luke I love how you are so patient with your training. I know this training will stay with the Camels for the rest of their lives. Great teaching. Thank you.

Well done boys! And thanks Luke and Lu for sharing. Luke, we're renovating a camel trailer at the moment. From your experience, do you think a ramp gate or swing gate (where they step up onto the trailer) is better? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you, Karla 🙏🏽

Hi Karla, I find the ramp good for getting their toes on easy first step but swinging gate you would have to get them to step can be trickier on their first run but they will learn quick . I teach them the word step up. Loading and unloading is so good for their training and trust.

@@lukecampbelladventures thanks for sharing Luke. I reckon we'll stick with a ramp for now and I'll teach the step up command. Looking forward to having weekend road adventures with my humps ❤

Hi Luke... I know that farmers use donkeys and llamas to protect their sheep from wolves and coyotes, and I wonder... how wild camels do with dingos?... maybe camels can be used to protect the cattle from dingos too?...
I know you're all about raising awareness about the camels, that's why I ask...

So that's where that saying comes from: "Like trying to get a camel on a trailer". 😉
