Hello! So I have a ferret diet question (I know you get lots of these lol) I found a reliable website that sells grind for decent pricing for good quality ingredients. But the thing I noticed is that all the grinds contain pork heart, liver, and kidney (along with the main source of meat like chicken, turkey, etc) I thought I heard liver should only be 5% of their diet so I was curious if it would still be balanced if every single meal they have every day of the week contained pork liver, kidney, and heart? Also, I plan on giving my ferrets pieces of chicken heart twice a week for extra taurine. Is this a good idea? Oh! And last question. What can I give my ferrets during the week to help with the plaque on their teeth since I know grinds help but aren’t the same as actual bones. I was also curious what amounts? I know it’s different for every ferret but wasn’t sure what amount since I plan on giving my ferrets 4oz of grinds per day (2oz per ferret) and don’t want to overfeed anything.
I’m so sorry for all the questions. I tend to be a slow learner and I am still new to the ferret community so asking questions has helped majorly :) I also just saw your recent video and wanted to say we will always be here for you and you are so strong and amazing. Take your time and take breaks when you need them. We aren’t going anywhere

@@MyFunkyFerrets Oh ok I'm glad he's well. Mine sleep all day too they are only awake about 2 hours a day to play I think it's normal for ferrets to sleep alot.
