Keep it hydrated and moisturized. Dont shampoo everyday, use extra conditioner. Honestly tho the biggest thing is patience. Its not gonna grown overnight, the first couple inches suck because everyone thinks you just need a haircut but after a while it gets to a point people start to like it and compliment you on it thats when growing it out gets really easy

My barber use to literally run a #5 guard across my head and my hair would be hella short, its been about a year and a half since I finished chemo and my hair is like 9 inches now and I braid it all the time and girls love it lmao best decision ever you just need patience.
