Incredible little harp!
I don't have enough money to buy a 32 string harp, even a harpsicle so I just ordered a small 8 string harp from amazon and what you do with yours gives me great joy. I can't wait to have mine.

Thank you Dame Corvus! This is so nice to read! I hope you will enjoy your new harp! Every instrument has its merits. Historically in some countries, traditional instruments had very few strings. I once heard a kantele player from Finland explain that having few strings forced musicians to be even more creative in their playing so that they could fit tunes on their smaller range instrument, and I found that incredibly inspiring! I have just started writing a music book with pieces especially written for 8-note instruments, I will let you know when it’s ready :)

Awesome job as always! And I like the idea behind this. I did something similar a few times playing music with a cheap toy store keyboard to show that it is possible to create good music with whatever you have on hand.

Hey I'm a beginner with the harp. I'm trying to play this song but it does not sound like yours. I think I'm going to fast or I'm not pulling the strings enough. Any advice?
Hello! First of all congratulations on starting the harp! Even though this piece is meant for baby harps, it is quite a challenging piece if you’re a complete beginner (as it takes some practice with finger placement) and if you have zero music background (for reading notes and following the rhythm pattern). But here’s a few tips - first of all, make sure your instrument is tuned properly (the strings should be tuned to CDEFGABC in 440 Hz starting from the bottom string). Then using UA-cam’s player speed watch the video at slow pace to play along. Please let me know how it goes!

@@mariannebouvettemusic I'm not a complete beginner though I have had an aklot harp for over a year but has been only practicing the basics and easy songs and didn't think that this harp can be used for more challenging songs like this and the video you made with the 15 songs, awesome. I have taken all your advice and seeing lots of improvement already. Thank you 😁😊
