    Yeah man Grade 8 hardware isn’t cheap but it’s definitely worth the investment

    Dielectric grease is an insulator… don’t use it on electrical connections themselves like how you rubbed it all over the connector before putting it on. Great idea to use the stuff since it helps prevent corrosion. However, use it on the outside of the connection only! Lol

      Thanks for sharing 🍻 you are correct I should have mentioned this better , best to not put it on
      the conductive side of the terminal and ok for the rest. It’s been fine so far no corrosion and winch still good as new, just checked it, that was lousy on my part.

      Use a product called No-Ox-Id or just No ox. It prevents corrosion but also conducts. I used to put it on giant battery strings in telephone offices. Electricians use it on aluminum cable. You can usually find it in electrical sections of hardware stores.

      I use CRC battery terminal protector spray.

    Spend some doll hairs and get rid of the hook. Factor55 prolink would be a great upgrade.

    Do you happened to know if a smittybilt stinger bumper will get in the way of this set up? Or can I install it just fine?

      I’m not totally sure on that one , have to find out if a plate is needed or not! Do you have any more information on the bumper ? Thanks for watching

      @@ATEMOFFROAD I’m using my stock bumper and I have the smittybilt stinger on it. I’m wondering if i can use this same winch you have and still keep my stinger bumper or do I have to remove it in order for the winch to fit?

      @@eddyrivera7287 I would think it will all fit, but I’ve never seen those stingers that bolt to the factory bumper before! Good luck buddy

    The small black wire.. where does it connect inside the control box?

      The small black wire with the eyelet on the end goes on the motor on the bottom

      @@derrickarchibeque8942 that black wires is the ground wire for the wireless controls , it goes with the black wire that comes out of the wireless control box and should land on a coil contact then lands on the ground contact of the motor same pole as the heave ground cable fork the battery
