Вставка
- Опубліковано 17 жов 2024
- Mo Dakhil, former video coordinator for the Spurs and Clippers, joins us today from bit.ly/2fudT6y to discuss the Cleveland Cavaliers Iverson Cut series and how it opens up such easy shots for LeBron James. Named after Allen Iverson, this cut allows a scorer space to attack on the wing, but there are a ton of options out of it.

Ty Lue would know a lot about Iverson's playstyle... lol
lol no chill
savage
with no regard for human life
Ty Lue actually played pretty good D against Iverson for most of that game.
Man I wanna see more of this "Plays We Love" series
Thanks! I'm going to keep doing them. You can always check out more of my stuff at thejumpball.net too
@@MoDakhil1come back.
Iverson made a big impact on coach Lue.
It must be hard when you know so much about basketball reading so many ignorant comments on all your videos.
Good plays.... I take for my team... Kidd will be proud
Wow this was really well made! Hope to see more of this in the future! :)
Thank you
Please keep these Plays We Love videos coming!
really the best series in the channel keep up with this videos I love them as hell!!!!
Great series, love the diagrams, they're very helpful as they give us a visual for the explanation. Would love to see more of these coach! Also, a breakdown of how Kyle Korver fits in the Cavs would be a great vid!
beautiful
This is a good breakdown. Useful play to get to know. Thanks!
Excellent video -- keep this series coming! The Warriors will need to be at their best to win it in seven.
What about the play where lebron stands on the left wing and two players are screening for each other near the left corner and one gets free for a corner three ( usually channing frye ) can you break it down coach?
They use that play a lot and I love it
שלישיית הקוסם "They run that play a lot". lol, no. LeBron is the primary ball handler almost all the time
Rememba Kemba you literally just watched a video with multiple examples of the cavs running plays...
He didn't actually watch it, maybe?
yes, the Iverson series. love it!!!
Great breakdown !
Lou Williams (Lakers) is the best in the NBA running Iverson Cut as a shooter. Dude learned it as a teammate of Allen Iverson.
DeAndre Page yes lou williams use that and hit the sliding three or dribbles to the corner for mid range
Always to the Left, but youngbloods still falling for it.
Great offensive set
Great video
these are great ATO sets. it seems that a lot of modern nba sets love to use 2 screeners right next to each other to help free the same man, and then one of the screeners will further get another action (like a flare screen from the other screener, or get the ball to be a playmaker)
Love these plays. The Cavs should run more plays. I thought Kyrie ISO too much some times, but he's one of the best one on one players. Warriors run many more plays and are also nice to watch.
This is a really good video
Ty.Lou using the iverson cut!? i see what you did there.
Kyrie uses that play to get buckets often... he da real mvp
The man himself used the Iverson Cut to Catch & Score.
I hope the Lakers keep Iverson Cut in their playbook, Lonzo Ball likes to shoot going Left also.
can you breakdown 2-3 zone plays
0:46, I guess we're just going to ignore how insane that pass was...
Great action! Hey coach, do you think Lue's offense fits his personnel better than Blatt's offense?
Yes and No. I think the bigger difference is buy in from the players. That has to be earned by a coach in my opinion and it's clear that Blatt didn't and Lue did.
Nice! I'm in
Finally an unbiased lebron/ cavs vid........
AI you are my favorite and most respected player. You helped Cleveland Cavaliers to win the first championship. Even though I really do not like Lebron ;)
Great !
can you tell me please which program you use to cut the scenes?thank you
I use final cut pro
Nice comparison, would we need to tip our hat to Larry Brown as well?
Take a shot everytime he says "iverson cut".
Coffa Boom Damn near dead...
after 7 shots lol, lightweight
My Lakers really tripped, I KNOW before you say it. Tank Mode & late 1st round pick. Jordan Clarkson runs it now, but they don't pass him the ball. He needs to perfect that LEFT CORNER fade with it, because teams fear him driving right.
I'd like to see Kyle Korver's impact on this kind of set that the Cavs run
He is going to fit perfectly in these sets, he can come off the comeback screen, he would do a good job curling around the pick like Smith did on the backdoor. I'm sure they have more wrinkles that we haven't seen yet too
Coach Ty Lue got schooled enough by Allen Iverson (ex. Step Over). He actually learned something.
DeAndre Page Ty Lue actually locked down AI for most that game, that play is just what everybody happened to remember because it was so nasty
I watched the whole series. I was talking about the Iverson Cut that Ty Lue uses in his Playbook.
Brian Nguyen, checkout 2001 NBA Finals Game 1: Nobody could stop Iverson, not even Kobe. My Lakers took care of the next 4 games.
does this mean lue loves iverson that much he created that many iterations to AIs play ?
shin tenshin lakers used him to glue on AI
Anyone know how to make these types of videos?
Funny how Ty Lue uses iverson cut
so its upgrade from iverson cuts, but more advanced.
vankov That's a redundant statement.
Means Tyroon Lue like Iverson? hehe
"LeBrOn DoEsN't fOlLoW tHe pLaYs"
It’s a beaut
anyone else confused?
Coach
