Thank you Danny for another magical gem in our American flute/piano repertoire. Thanks also to the fabulous British pianist Tim Carey for his imagination and Ann Arbor engineer Dave Schall for capturing it all!
cc sdk Ahem....Bravo is for a solo man, like Tim Carey. But it's Brava for a solo woman, like Amy Porter. For the two together, it is Bravi. Bravi is for a group of men, or a mixed group of men and women. For a group of women only, it is Brave. "What do they teach kids in school these days?" :)
Bravo, Mr Single Man, I hope you felt really good about airing your knowledge, on a public forum, at the expense of someone else. Now, why not check all the other comments and see if you can start correcting grammar, punctuation, UPPER CASE misuse, and see how many instances of slang usage you can publicly slap down. People really like you for this sort of thing, don't they?
I voted "like", of course. I note that some recorder player sneaked in and voted "dislike" He needs to be sent home to Mommy and have his diaper changed. I have not heard of the name Daniel Dorf before, but I will later on try to find what else is on You Tube from him.
Congratulations Amy and Tim, and my deepest gratitude; this is what composers dream of. A beautiful video of a wonderful performance!

At times I almost felt that the flute notes and the piano notes blended to the extent that it was hard to tell them apart, a cool auditory sensation.
This is absolutely GORGEOUS. Love Daniel's music, and Ms. Porter and Mr. Carey's playing is so sensitive and transportive!
Such an expression of freedom in feeling!
Bravo Amy. We were at Juilliard all those years. We sat in same classes L&M and ear training!!! I was in the comp department!!
