I'd rather wait for the game to be released in the best possible version than wait for a patch that may never come if the game sells under expectations.
I hope Firmament is a success on PSVR 2, because I really REALLY want Cyan to bring the VR versions of Myst and especially Riven to PSVR 2. If Firmament gets pretty good reviews, I might pick it up just to do my part to get to those other games. And hopefully it's also good. As for the Encircled story, I think all it really says is if you release a small obscure game onto a platform with hundreds of games, it's likely to do better than when you ship it on a platform with thousands of games. And we don't know the sales, only percentages. It's theoretically possible (considering the poor discoverability of the Meta store) that it sold 10 copies on Quest, which would mean it's sold 9 on PSVR 2. I'm sure it's more than this, just illustrating the point. I'm glad the developer is pleased with how it's performed on PSVR 2 though. And for Idol Maker, if you were a real guardian angel, you'd convince the little girl not to get into the entertainment industry at all, considering how toxic/abusive/predatory it often is. Not to mention fame in general. Somehow I don't think that's what the game's creators are going for though. That one's giving off creepy vibes to me for some reason. Good job with the video 👍
