Hey Z, I watched your video about your experience becoming a rat when I was on the way to my first retreat. Initially, it terrified me but then when it got to the end and you explain the breakthrough you had, I believe it was the best video I've ever watched on the topic. I was particularly comforted by the end when you said not to be scared because the medicine will only give you what you need. I ended up having the best experience ever. I laughed so much and then had a major realisation about my relationship with my mother. Then more laughing! Amazing experience. I just wanted to say thanks so much for sharing yours :)
I booked my retreat recently!! I came across your channel and story in my long long research phase, it was so helpful. Hearing all these changes I had a big smile on my face for you Z! Hope it can have some of the breakthroughs too 🙏
Z just wanted to say thank you. In integration for a ceremony 2 months ago and you spoke wonderful reminders. Really appreciated your version of "create a beautiful mind space." In that moment my head just filled with flowers. Thank you for the healing. Much gratitude.
Happy to hear that Sarah! Sending you much love as you go on your journey! And feel free to reach out through this comment section or my email (momentswithz@gmail.com) if you have any specific questions with integration, I gotchu 👍

Hey Z going to Peru in less than a month and im not going to lie- your last video, while giving me hope, terrified me also- kind of have the same stuff you had with the social anxiety and depression. I guess it might come down to going through hell to get over this stuff like it took you but I appreciate you putting yourself out there and seeing this process youre going through
Hey there! Sorry I missed this comment. I want to reassure you that you may not necessarily go through what I went through. Everyone's journey towards healing is unique to them. How are you holding up with your anxiety and depression nowadays?
@@MomentsWithZhi Hey, the anxiety and depression are usually tolerable with the meds I take, except now I stopped taking them to start detoxing my body for the Aya ceremonies. Hopefully these next few weeks fly by -I just want to get out there and start the process!
amazing bro. thanks for sharing the mental changes u spoke of are very relateble. I had already taken lots of risks and tried lots of things before doing iohaska (like starting a business, sky diving) but barely enjoyed any of it as i was so paralyzed by fear and the fear ruled me. now i ffel far less fear and guilt
So happy to hear the fear and guilt has lessened bro. Life becomes very very different once the fear and guilt lessen. It feels like I can finally breathe and take in life fully.
@@MomentsWithZhi ave you eevr gone back and done more or tried anything different?(and if not why not?) Im tempted to to try DMT now but still pretty scared. Before this trip i didnt even smoke weed so was a big jump.
@@justinfeldman4618 I've explored other plant medicines (mushroom) and psychedelics including DMT. If you do decide to explore other medicine, my advice is to take it slow and definitely have someone with experience guide you. And give yourself time after each experience to process what you experience and integrate into your everyday life.
Good , honest and in depth description. Just what I needed when trying to decide whether to try Ayahuasca to relieve my long term depression and find spirituality. Would love to know whether you suffered from suicidal thoughts in the past before your ayahuasca experience.
Yes! Very powerful realization. Practice just observing your thoughts instead of engaging with them. With practice, you'll have a better grasp of how to better use your mind in ways that serve you 😉
Hey dude, I've only seen this video and the one about your Aya experience - Thank you for sharing, it must have been challenging. How do you know if you're ready? I feel such a strong pull and curiosity towards it. There are many things that feel out of place within myself and I have reached a place of desperation for a resolution.. I believe a transformative experience could help. Love to you brother
There won't be a single moment where you're hit with the thought or feeling of "I'm ready". Follow the pull and the curiosity. Many of the friends I made at the retreat were in a desperate place mentally, myself included. You seem to check off everything. I can't say whether you're ready or not but I can say that feelings of fear or anxiety are completely normal. Best of luck brother 😊❤️ P.s. I'd be happy to help answer any questions or aid in the integration process over a virtual call 👍
Can one fly back home one day after the ceremony or is it better to arrange for a quiet space to procees. Is one valnurable and open to abosrbing bad energies from others shortly after the ceremony?
Flying is no problem, I flew back one day after the ceremony. Though I HIGHLY recommend to create some buffer before immediately going back to your work. Even just 2 rest days before returning to work would be immensely beneficial. In that pure state, you may be very sensitive to bad energy and so you can better remove yourself from those type of situations. Learn "shielding". It's the act of creating an energetic barrier between you and the potential bad energy around you. Also learn "cleansing". Bad energy may cling onto you over time just by virtue of the current state of the collective consciousness (collectively, we've been in darkness but we're currently shifting towards more light). So cleansing is a practice of periodically clearing yourself of bad energy that may have clung onto you. I hope that helps!
i got some social shit going on, is it anxiety or just disinterested in boring people? i get fear a bit too. Im surrounded by so many lame people. I feel trapped & trapped in my mind. But mainly trapped where i live. I tried to talk to counsellors but im getting nowhere.

I would say it took about 4-6 months to settle in with the new me. At first, fresh from Aya, I was very present and worry free. Then over time, more of my personality started coming back and I began to integrate that with the Aya experience. And now with integration complete, I feel fully upgraded as a person. More joyful, more purposeful, less fear, and overall, more authentically myself.
