This reminds me of my drinking too much days. I am married to an absolutely beautiful woman. I would feel tired going out. She would say have a couple of drinks baby and you will feel better. I did. We would have a wonderful evening and with a few more drinks, I was close to knee walking. She drove me home, we snuggled in bed, usually had sex the next morning.
