I'm starting to lose hope of my goal of 100k subscribers. I think it's that I'm up here in the Northeast. I'm not too creative with my editing. And I don't post enough. But my day job is pretty stressful so it's tough to maintain two boats, run the boats, find and kill the fish, then put together a good video. I'm gonna try and be more consistent but it's tough
Way to go Capt Chris! As a mainly solo fisherman myself, this video is right up there with Ernest Hemingway’s - “The Old Man and the Sea”. Years of accumulated experience, determination, and perseverance producing success. We can’t wait to see part B. Way to go!
Hahaha Dude so Awesome! You got me Hyped up! I do lots of solo trips myself but never have for tuna yet. You just motivated me! Takes a lot of skill to do that solo awesome job!
I had to have a laugh at myself at the start of the vid, the look on your face when looking astern at the beutafully running engines and on your way out to sea, priceless, nice one.
You’re very welcome. Your videos are great. My uncle Jim told me to check out your channel to learn something (and probably watch him reel in a striper). Needless to say, I’ve learned a lot. Keep up the good work!
this was one of my favorite videos I have watched to date. Just seeing how excited you were made it all that much better. Few questions... How big is the Contender? And last, how far off do you take this bought to get Tuna? Thank you and another great video!!!
For tuna fishing I want to just set the anchor and focus on the fishing. With the trolling motor you have to worry about the prop coming out of the water or if it's rough/windy it not being able to hold ya. When bluefin chunking I wanna stay put and focus on the chunking. But we did do it once on a buddies 31 Cape Horn and we caught em!
Hi Capt , just found your channel , watched 3 of your videos , I'm Hooked and subscribed , up here near Cape Cod , your very informative , I'll be watching, Thanks

Awesome video. Having the same size boat and also doing slot of solo trips, what’s the least amount of miles to go out to land an inshore tuna?? Thanks

Thanks so much for watching!!
omg bro you are a beast !
ha. Thanks so much for watching!
I see the trolling motor mount. Thoughts on using a tm with spot lock for a day chunking trip? Too noisy?

Pretty work. Nothing so satisfying as a successful solo mission.

Good stuff👍👍
Thank you Liam!
Nicely done..
Thank you so much!
1st great job. That was awesome. I do have a question, why didn't you use your trolling motor for an anchor? I see that you took it off the boat.

Was this the sea isle ridge?
Been waiting on this one since you posted the insta this summer!
Thanks so much for watching Frank. It was so fun
Awesome video. Having the same size boat and also doing slot of solo trips, what’s the least amount of miles to go out to land an inshore tuna?? Thanks
most years 40 miles down off South Jersey. 30 or so off OC, Maryland. And 20-40 up off North Jersey
Thank you!
She likes slow and steady huh? Nice solo fish!
Got to love it
Darn right!! Thanks so much for watching!
How can you tell what youve hooked before you see it? What are the behaviors that give you clues?
With these bluefin tuna you will feel the characteristic tuna "tail beat". and their runs are so fast and more sustained than a shark
Nothing better brother
So fun!
What kind of rods and reels do you use I got a hint to see that their Penn if you could tell me what size/model thanks
