I re watch these explainer videos all the time. I really appreciate the help. I started playing more heavily last year; I think I'm becoming more of a grinder this year. You're the best Al
I really enjoy the content I'm definitely two of the three types of players I want to be a better player but trying to grind up a bankroll took such a toll on me mentally that I stopped enjoying the game. Not to mention the the whole family avoiding Me from August till February. I'm happy to be a small bankroll player who likes the game. It's fun again and maybe I will get lucky this year.
I started watching you religiously last year but got to be honest did not implement any of the tactics of stacking a QB with pass catchers. I went back and looked at the 2021 season of Milly winners and my jaw hit the floor. You can correct me if I am wrong, but I have found the reason of stacking and I have seen the light at the end of the tunnel!!!!!!! Lamar Jackson last year week 5 (And again correct me on any of this if I am wrong and looking in the wrong places) scored 45 points! but guess what one that week... a tom brady double freaking stack. Like you say if you are going to win with a guy.. how are you going to win.

I’m a small time player with my top entry being $25 and finally last year I started playing smaller field qualifiers instead of big gpps and I won a ticket into king of the pitch, $555 mid season EPL where I took 4th and also a few wildcat tickets. And I’ve been playing since DK was draftstreet. Can’t believe it took me that long
first part of the video explains me perfectly lol. I have no favorite football teams, throwing $5-10 every week for some fun makes the games more interesting for me.
Contrarian not stupid, gotta find 1-2 second or third options week 1 that out perform the 1, mix it up, so much great content this week. Who goes off at 1:00 PM with enough 4:25PM to keep dreams alive? Love the challenge
Outfox the foxes, #1 is the key, serious or not? 1993 Movie, Sniper, Tom Berenger, not the greatest, but at one point he tells the new guy, “What I know about this Jungle son is that I’m in it” Goals comments well received, it’s work, gotta make time, but Al guides to the best outcomes. Thanks as always AZ
Hello Alvin Zeidenfeld, Hope this message finds you well. I have two questions. First, For cash head-to-head how many lineups do you make if you are playing $10-20 and $20-$50 ? Second, are 50/50 of $1 entry not worth to play in as cash games ? Thank you for your videos!
Been watching for a minute, always greet content. Something I always wondered, is it better to use a site such as fantasy labs or rotogrinders for an optimizer, or just watch the news and hand build? I'm still learning this game!
without knowing everyone's individual details, I do believe that having access to a solid set of thoughtful projections and a quality lineup builder is important for someone who aspires to be a serious player. For the casual player it can also be extremely useful as a time saver as 99% of people playing have a 9-5 job and don't have time to be pouring over everything all the time. You're basically hiring someone to do all that for you and just be able to sit down and make sharper lineups with less of a time sink.
Thank you as always, man! After watching your last two videos, I’m going to play a lot more cash this year. Would you recommend focusing on head to head or 20-60 man double ups in cash?
Play some 50/50 games too, I play tournaments but more of my money is put into 50/50 games which I’m good at only cuz I buy a pros Advice. The advice I get and research I pay for wins most 50/50 games. Also I play the same $ amount each week
Question, I'm a newby playing maybe $15-$20 a slate. Learning I should be playing more $3-$5 100 max tourneys. What strategy do I use in that kind of tourney? More of a cash strategy and hope to cash something or smarter to play single stack w/runback and maybe throw in a U-5% guy to give myself a chance to possibly win? Right now, I'm a "just for fun" player who just doesn't want to keep buying in $250 every couple of months
Al, should I be playing 50/50, or Double ups for better maximization? 50/50 pays 50% of the field but pays only 1.8x my entry fee. Double ups pay 2x, but only pay 43-45% of the field. Maybe put your answer in a future video too. Thanks.
I appreciate these tips, they are truly awesome. However it would be more profitable (for me anyway) if you would just tell me which 8 players and dst to use in the millymaker to win it we could cut thru some of this red tape here.
Hey Al, been a subscriber for awhile and love the content and everything your doing. I am a mid tier bank roll player who plans on only investing around $120 a week. I like to max out my tournament entries so I do the $3 20 entry max. When doing a 20 entry max, do you suggest running a optimizer or hand building these lineups? And for a player on a budget, what would you suggest is the best optimizer and projections website to subscribe to? I want to up my game this year and really become a better draft kings player. Thanks for the advice and the tips for cash games, I will for sure be utilizing that this year
It doesn’t matter what you use to build, it matters HOW you build and that you’re comfortable with it. If you dont need the added speed and time acting ability, build by hand. 20 is manageable.
Hey Al! Looking to up my DFS game this season and something I have never done before is actually track my bankroll but I'm not exactly sure which/how many things to track (ie., amount put into GPPs, amount put into cash games, field size, showdown v mainslate, etc.) Any specific metrics you suggest incorporating into a spreadsheet?
@@alsmizzle That would be a lot simpler than hand-crafting a spreadsheet myself LOL. Mind sharing the site or any similar to it that you would recommend?
Al, great video. I always feel odd if I’m entering one lineup into a small field 100 man tourney and that lineup goes off whereas my large fields maybe fall short. Would you still just build for specific contest sizes or throw the same lineup into different field sizes?
I put all my small field tournament lineups into the larger GPP's. They're lineups that are built to win tournaments, the field size doesn't matter. My cash game lineup plays in cash games only.
What if you are not someone who builds their own projections. I look at free sites that provide projections but that's all. So how do I find the right players?
Depends on the contest and what sort of lineup you're trying to build. Build the lineup to win the competition you're entering. That means different things for different contests.
Sadly, I think we've gotten to the point with daily fantasy that we got to with online poker, where it's not worth it for the average human to even bother, except for entertainment. All the best contests are filled with the same names and we simply aren't going to beat them over the long run.
Good luck waisting your life and money away! I got lucky unintentionally and won a few K & here I am looking to find someone show me how to take it out because they don’t give it to me whatsoever for over 2 weeks!! Fff DK because I found out they took 50k-15k and other number from different people including 2K from my cousin which I didn’t know! These are wishful thinking for thousands of people who are caught up in the world of gambling while these websites take your Christmas money and don’t give it back
YRS AGO, I HAD PROOF THAT GUYS WERE USING MULTIPLE ENTRIES IN SINGLE ENTRY GAMES-DID BASEBALL AND EVERY DAY, THE WINNERS HAD THE EXACT SAME LINEUP AND WERE THE SAME PLAYERS EVERY DAY...IT WAS SO OBVIOUS

There shouldn’t EVER be any shame in playing DFS casually for fun and entertainment.

I’m killing it this year on dfs for me. +$1,200 in 1 month, but I’ve won 5 weeks in a row.
FantasyLabs is my #1 tool for the NFL season along with Established the Run as my projection for Draftkings; FantasyLabs for Fanduel.
Gl this season!

Indeed, in all things
Great video Al, thanks

Yup. I play a 23man winner take all($100). Im most always top 5 and have won several by using cash game rules with correlation.

head to head are a bit better and I'd probably play about half my entries at those buy in levels.

As many cheap head to head opponents as you can find.

Thanks Al!

Grind grind grind.

I only bet on UFC. I won 22k off a 5$ parlay! I love DraftKings. It’s so easy
Debo came thru for me this weekend tbh

I use a site that just tracks everything for you. You just dump your entire site history csv into it and it spits out all the data.

the only strategy u need: both quarterbacks and 4 receivers. that's it.

What happened to AL
Can I quit my day job and make a living on DK?? :) Hell, I'd be thrilled with making $100 a month worse case! Teach me professor! Teach me... 😎
Lets be fair...the way to win at DFS is to play the guys who score the most points.....
No one think Deebo was a secondary when the season started last year.
I did
They 100% did. Aiyuk had a 3rd/4th round adp and Deebo was a 6th round pick.
Can you translate and Spanish 😢
Maybe just sit out week 1. Crapshoot.
