I'm 58, saw Up in Smoke when it came out, and to this day, I still have tears rolling down my face from laughing so fucking hard, even after watching it well over 100 times. Cheech and Chong RULE.😂😂😂😂😂😂
I saw Cheech and Chong live at a pop festival in the UK in 1972, everybody was stoned, thousands of stoners at a huge festival all getting it with those guys, great stuff. I was working at that festival and the night before it started me and another guy got hold of a big bag of weed. We went into this big tent and the Grateful Dead's crew were in their and we brought out this bag of weed and partied all night with the Dead and their crew. The GD were headlining the festival and I was transported, because the acid was being handed around before they came on and when it was over I cried my eyes out, it was amazing. That was 50 years ago, I am 70 now and that was a most memorable festival. I worked at Glastonbury festival for years and I was involved in that scene for many years, I always gravitated towards the music scene and met a lot of really great musicians and became friends to this day with them. Too many to mention, except one band, The French Funk Federation, they were fabulous, not well known but they put on a great show. I should write a book about the things I got up to with these artists.
Tommy genuinely seems like a good dude. I mean, he once got pulled over, & shared his hot dog with the cop who pulled him over. (no homo) Heart. Of. Gold!
Traffic cop: "Can I see your license please?" Cheech: "My license?" "Isn't on the bumper?" Cheech: "Hey man, how am I driving?" Chong: "I think we're parked."

We used to go to the library and put cheech and chong records in a journey or Micheal Jackson cover and listen to it in the booth at the library. We would be laughing like crazy and we could see the librarian looking at us like what's so funny about Journey lol

Hey! Double Bubble! You ain’t no double bubble. Naw man, I just needed a ride... Used to quote Cheech and Chong movies in high school even if half of it we didn’t quite understand at the time!
My Dad and his friends would sit around in a fat cloud of smoke and listen to Cheech n Chong on a record player back in the early eighties .. I have been a huuuge fan ever since then
Thank You, Cheech and Chong, for making me laugh every time I watch your movies and listen to your audio clips. Your drug humor is funniest ever! You have made me laugh for the past 45 years. Thank You. God Bless You.
I saw these guys, Cheech and Chong at the Perth concert hall in Western Australia way back in the 70's. I'll never forget the moment in their show when one of them said, "Fuck". It was used in a fabulously hilarious context, but back then ( and even now ) Perth was a pretty conservative place, so there was a short silence while most of the audience looked at each other as if seeking for agreement for the fact that what was said, was " fuckin' funny and I'll laugh is you will"! The whole audience suddenly erupted in a sort of comedy accord of laughter and from then on, the show just got better. One of my fondest memories of two very , very funny people.
My uncle was an inner city cop in the '70s and he thought Cheech and Chong were the funniest thing ever, saw all their movies in the theater and later when cable TV came out and VCRs were a thing, he'd come off his shift, pop a beer and watch a C&C flick to unwind.
I haven’t thought about that, Dave’s not here bit for years but hearing him reminisce about it just made me laugh. I used to love that big bamboo record
Mr Chong i am a long time fan of yours and Cheech’s. Thank you for all the albums and movies. I laugh so hard at your tapes when in on a road trip. Thank you
Yeah I don't think people who have a gun inside your house understand what it will be like. My friend has hearing/mental issues due to a gun battle with an intruder. The intruder was unarmed at the front door asking for help in a foriegn language, the Mum shoots at him and misses. He then tackled her at the front door and took the gun. Dad tries to shoot him with a shot gun, but goes high as my friend and his brother come into the hallway. The intruder shoots the Dad in the shoulder. Mum has other guns/ammo in a bag and they go to the bathroom. Dad crawls into the room across the hall from the bathroom, bleeding he props himself against the door. The boys are reloading in the bath and sliding guns across the hall. Mum let's rip with a semi automatic. Intruder shoots Mum in the knee thru the wall. His brother is on the phone to the police can't hear due to ringing in his ears. When the police arrive the Dad shoots at them too which leads to a stand off. The "Intruder'" was broken down and pleades self defence.
This is fucking awesomeness! I grew up listening to the Cheech and Chong Greatist Hits album, i remember a car sized joint on the cover. My dad would play it in the car and my brother and I would die laughing. Thank you for that and the memories cheech and chong
Wow! That "Let me in, it's Dave" skit was ironically the first thing i've ever heard from Cheech & Chong. I never knew that was their first skit! The first time i heard Cheech & Chong was in the 90's when i was a little kid. I found a C&C 8-track in my grandparents basement along with other random 8-track tapes, and i just happened to pop in the C&C one. I had no clue what weed was, but i still found it hilarious. LOL
That podcast with Stephen Crowder really hurt his reputation. Between the whiskey and the weed he ended up being a loud mouth bully with his guest and his fans weren't quiet with their disapproval of his behavior.

"Hey man hows my driving?"

one of the funniest scenes in a movie ever!

Cheech: "I think it's on the back of the car man."

Cheech: Isn’t it on the license?
