    The ESR Rebound Magnetic Keyboard Case has nearly everything you would ever need for your 10th-Generation iPad. It includes a keyboard, trackpad and magnetic stand for your iPad. Plus, you get all of this for a fraction of the price of the official Apple Magic Keyboard for the 10th-Gen iPad! However, there are some things that have caused me to return this case. ☹️

    Thank you so much for this fantastic review! You saved me from buying this and being disappointed later. I agree when I purchase a case for my devices, I like it to be protected at all times. To me it is unacceptable to have no case protection when we have to remove it from the magnetic case to use the iPad vertically while reading a book etc. I wouldn’t have figured this out until after I got it and it was too late and a hassle for a return. Thanks again! 😊

    I think that with the case connecting with magnets, it would mean you could get another magnetic case from ESR and just switch around when you’re not in need of typing.
    You could also consider the Logitech Combo Touch, but that is a grip case that’s very tough to get the iPad in or out. Therefore, you’re stuck to always using that specific case, although the protection is very good and the keyboard is amazing.

    Thank you, for your review comments on the ESR keyboard and case for the iPad 10th generation. Last week, I just received the Logitech “Combo Touch” and would love to hear your review of this keyboard and case for the same basic iPad 10th generation. In the past starting with the basic iPad 4th generation, I had always passed on a keyboard case but with my new basic iPad 9th generation decided to give it a try. So far, I been enjoying my “Combo Touch” more and more each day. No blue-tooth pairing is needed, no charging is needed, it has function keys, its keyboard is “back-lit”, and it has an App to stay current as Apple continues to make updates to their iPad OS (smile…smile).

    I love this case. I don’t have any reason personally for returning it. Esr does make some cases that rotate, not sure if there was one for the iPad 10 but too late for me now. As far as charging the keyboard, it’s said that with the back lit you only have to charge it every two weeks. But without the back lit it would last longer so i guess I’m gonna charge it every two weeks so that doesn’t bother me. It is a bummer not being able to rotate it, but having this makes me feel like i have my MacBook with me and the trackpad works flawlessly. It is heavier than i expected but that’s ok for me as well it’s still less weight than my MacBook and i don’t always have to carry my laptop. I like your review. The case now for the iPad ten there’s a place i can put my iPad pencil. I wish personally they would make it more secure for when i fold the case like some other cases. Other than that this case is perfect for me.

    Isn’t it magnetic? Can’t you just stick the iPad in portrait mode on the magnets as opposed to turning the entire case on its side?

  • @jameshammond493

    I am just about to buy this case, and was looking at reviews. I am looking for something like the Apple Magic Keyboard, without the hefty price. One of the things you mentioned, the non portrait orientation, is actually advertised on their website as a feature. I got a bit of a laugh out of you turning the whole thing on its side, but turns out you can actually do this. Liked the review though 😊

      Personally, I've been using a standard folio case with the Logitech Keys-To-Go keyboard. I think this case works best if you only use your iPad in horizontal mode.

    Even Apple's Magic cases are in landscape mode, this is just the weirdest review. And is the case any heavier than the Magic keyboard?

    • @ChaseYamaTech
      @ChaseYamaTech  Рік тому +1

      I think the Apple Magic Keyboard -- specifically for the 10th-Gen iPad -- is different because it allows you to remove the keyboard and trackpad to use the iPad in portrait mode. I'm not too sure about weight because I do not own the Apple Magic Keyboard. So, my review is based on my personal experience not in relation to the Apple Magic Keyboard.

    • @jamesmoss3131
      @jamesmoss3131 Рік тому +1

      But this is also magnetically connected so why can’t you remove the keyboard and hold it portrait. Really poor review

    • @ChaseYamaTech
      @ChaseYamaTech  Рік тому +1

      @@jamesmoss3131 “Removing the keyboard” means taking the iPad off of the case. Then, you’re just holding the iPad without a case…
      The keyboard itself is NOT detachable from the case like Apple’s Magic Keyboard Keyboard.

      @@ChaseYamaTech …Perfect example here of how this world is nothing more than a collaboration of different perspectives, based on different life experiences ect & there’s no such thing as right or wrong thinking really, cause I was just about to say how I think this is a excellent & honest review, which are hard to come by these days with all the sponsorships & free products being exchanged in return… I appreciate your review & got exactly what I needed out of it so thank you!!!!
      I’ve just bought my 1st ever iPad (latest Pro 2022, 6th Gen 12.9”), which will already be a hefty thing to lug around as is. I have an unusual idea on how to get everything I want use wise minus the headaches… So 98% sure I’ll get a the new ESR Rebound 360° case so I can completely remove the folio/stand while still having decent protection on the iPad from the internal case. From all my research, I think that’s the best case for my wants/needs minus a keyboard (or a case very similar) & I’m strongly considering buying a separate wireless keyboard (hopefully with trackpad) that’s travel friendly enough to take with me in a TomToc iPad hardcase bag I’ll buy. That bag apparently easily fits iPads with folio covers (although your reviewed one looks maybe too thick). That bag has a divider in the middle that has straps to hold chargers, USB’s, HDD’s ect & inside the front there’s another large pocket you can put another iPad, or digital Notebook (my plan) …aaannd, a separate keyboard too 😉😉
      So from everything I’ve pondered on, I think (for exactly some of the reasons you mention in the video), I’ll get the ESR Rebound 360° (that’ll give me a quality bumper case + a front & back folio that doubles as a stand but I can still separate the iPad 100% from if I want to) + a travel friendly separate keyboard (many have magnets underneath so it’d stick to the inside of my ESR folio while in use to prevent shifting + I’ll get the TomToc travel hard case/bag thing (or the ProCase brand one, identical bags except where one has a internal zipper pouch, the other is a open slot) so that’ll carry & protect my iPad with whatever case/folio I choose, my cables, cords, adapters, USB’s, HDD’s ect & it’ll be able to carry the separate keyboard & probably my SuperNote in the front too. Easy, safe & compact transport & access to everything I’d need on the go in one bag not much bigger than my iPad. Detachable Folio case + separate travel friendly keyboard + hard case travel bag.
      From all I’ve seen, I think buying those 3 things & doing it that way will give me all use scenarios & features I want without having to sacrifice protection or one feature for another & it’ll literally be exactly the same result & virtually no extra hassle to use + some extra features/uses you couldn’t get having it all-in-one… What’s your thoughts on that idea?
      Have you tried any separate keyboards that aren’t part of a case? Any recommendations or a video link if you’ve got one would be great 😁🙏

    That keyboard case is like the Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro 12.9 and iPad Pro 11 as well as the Air. That is how they work only in Landscape mode. If you want to go to portrait mode you have to remove it from the keyboard case. As far as the other problems you need to send it back and ask for a new one.

    I would rather buy this than the official Apple Magic Keyboard Folio to be honest. This ironically looks way more premium and significantly cheaper than the official one. I don’t mind at all. This video made me actually want to buy one. I’m just being honest.

    The "Magic Keyboard doesn't permit docking your iPad in Portrait orientation."
    I really wish the review focused on comparisons between this keyboard and the magic keyboard. Like I don't even know if the magic keyboard has a power button. Like the magic keyboard doesn't need to be charged. Really trying to see if there's a market for Magic keyboard alternatives with feature parity.

  • @beezwaxnotyoursinc
    @beezwaxnotyoursinc 9 місяців тому +2

    The newer ones have a protective case for the iPad so you can pull it off of the keyboard and use it as a normal iPad while still protected. You can also swivel the iPad to portrait while using the keyboard. It also doesn’t need to be powered on and off- it automatically goes off when you close it and the battery life is OUTSTANDING. Lastly, it’s not *that* heavy. I paid $119 not $130 and it’s worth every penny.
