Yes, I just hope everyone realizes Simon & Ezra are on 2 very different spectrums & can't be handled the same. So I hope they each get there own therapies & schooling + the way there treated at home. Like I hate 2 say but the babu talk is unnecessary, especially when you want them 2 be verbal, rite!! Simon will be with good therapy & maybe Ezra 1 day, but that's a good example of how different they are.. I love your family vlogs & your younger boys are interesting 2 watch grow...
Thank you, Catie. Yes, Ezra and Simon are at very different levels as we discuss in the following video… They each have their own therapist that they work with each day. And you are right they are progressing very differently. :-) But it is great to see their progress.

I remember having the Dr. Seuss book Green Eggs and Ham read to me when I was younger and then eventually reading it myself.
Two other books I enjoyed were “Harry the Dirty Dog” and “Harry and the Lady Next Door”. “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” was another good one. These might be good books for you to get for Simon (if you haven’t already). He may enjoy reading them for himself later on when he learns to read.

It’s good that Simon is already beginning to learn about laundry. I think I was at least a year older when I learned to recognize certain words like “washer” and “dryer”. Using the same words took a bit longer (as I recall).

Every Easter when I was growing up my parents had an egg hunt. By my teen years we had a scavenger hunt like what you are doing in this video.
We also dyed Easter Eggs every year.

Yeah, a new video. Such a bless. I notice every time, Simon is more and more the meaning of words and is attentive. I always love it when Adam speaks with the Mickey-Mouse voice 🤣. Ezra takes part in his special way, he is so lovely and it breaks my heart, when he misunderstand some signs. But he get so much support by his sibblings, ecpecially from Marie, it´s heartwhelming 😍.
We didn´t celebrating easter, because first we haven´t children and then, we have much trouble with people (landlords) around us, who cause headaches. Everyone has problems.

So far we get up early and open the basket together, sometimes go to church, and then easter dinner with my parents right after dinner we hide eggs inside (cause we live in apartments). We do it after dinner cause dont want the kiddo to fill up on candy first. 🐰 🐣 🥚

Happy Easter to you and your family, look at your two boys joining in on the Egg dyeing activity with the other kids. Simon is excited to be part of the egg hunt, but poor Ezra was sad only sad for a minute and he's very happy with his basket of toy cars. I don't know who is happier Ezra or Simon right now. Love how everyone helps him find eggs during the hunt.😊😊😊

It looks like Ezra knows what the toilet is but he’s afraid of it.
I wonder if someone made some kind of a joke about “the potty monster” and he took it literally. Maybe it happened in kindergarten or maybe someone else might have made a joke about it at some point and scared him without meaning to.
I wonder if maybe you can help Ezra get back into toilet training by getting him a potty chair in his size (perhaps even building one out of supplies available from a store that people might shop in before camping). With any luck you might have some supplies left over from your RV days that might be able to help out with this. Maybe Ezra could customize the potty chair and make it his own even if it’s just something as basic as putting stickers on it.
This will allow Ezra to practice the mechanics of what he needs to do without too much fear. After that it will be necessary to somehow transition him to the regular toilet if you can. Maybe his school or a therapist might have some ideas on how to do this last step whenever the time comes.

My baby is so similar to Simon, at what age did he start speaking?
Simon is still not speaking. He can say a few words now, but that has been very recent. He has been in speech therapy since around 2 years old and he just recently turned 3.
