@@MASTERSOT I think that there is a chance this will make it into a Atreus game, the Dragon is one of the strongest and noblest of all the norse beasts, probably why Sigrun has a dragon helmet, there is a possiblity that Atreus will learn to conjure a magic dragon or even become a one in the future, it will be awesome! a boy's game has too much potential!

The Baldur boss fight in development ver. Is impressive. But I much prefer the release version since If you imagine the combat arena being to huge, It's would be too much. Still I like how interactive environment is. It's very amazing and impressive.
So much cool ideas in the build that would have made the game even better than it was but Cory did say at the end that it was hard to do but if they can all these missed ideas on the next game it will be a 20/10 game. Also there were a lot of cool finishers they didn’t use

this is what the people who are complaining about the wolverine leaks need to see. gow has some of the best combat in story games, and yet, the animations looked extremely bad here. same exact situation with wolverine. i promise that the games combat will flow, and work much better than what it looks like in the leaks lol.

Am I crazy or does the extremely early footage look like it was built from The Last of Us? Like the grab takedown at 0:24 and the way his swings hit and stop at 0:31, and also just his swinging animations and the way the camera moves with it feels extremely Last of Us. It also says first strike stealth in the corner.
The troll moment would’ve beeen siiiiick asf and like a skill check moment if there was like 30 enemies just slowly getting up behind you. stun the ogre fast enough plus leave enough health on the ogre to smash em all or just die cause you missed a couple parries😂

Under the Mayo is fine as a reviewer I respect him because he made his review as a God of War FAN whereas every other reviewer just uses what Mayo says to discredit these games against other games to make it look bad. Glad it won the 2018 GOTY but Mayo didn’t outright say it was bad he said he loved some things about it like them changing the game is a risk and he says he liked that and changing the weapons and bringing back the blades and the game looks fantastic just that it doesn’t play like the originals and the fact that it has cutscenes for story purposes this game was made for god of war fans we want to see Kratos be better now Atreus does usually mess up the mood but take him as you will but people will just call this game a movie and that it shouldn’t be comparable to actual games.
I haven't played Ragnarok, but what makes you think the combat is basic and simplistic? I believe GOW 2018 is one of the greatest action games out there, and I play a lot of action games. From the GOW trilogy, DMC series, MGSR, Bayonetta series, Fromsoftware games, and others I can't remember.
@@smoothduck7151 i enjoy the combat but with the added fluff of a rpg system and most enemies on harder difficulties just being sponges that can’t be stunned and with combat not being very smooth in most encounters its just a bummer to see far more interesting concepts with Atreus having multiple powers and Melee combat being more interactive and brutal with more emphasis on the classic hack and slash of the originals.
@@Repudiate Honestly i can admit bias because these feeling stem more from me playing Ragnarock then 2018, i still do wish that they didn’t use the leveling or rpg stuff because it doesn’t inspire interesting enemy design when you can just crank the damage and health to max and make combat drawn out, i still like the groundwork 2018 made Raganarock though overall soured my Gow experience with just how boring most combat situations turn out
