Anonymous Speaks Truth well thats an easy question. When you have to choose between Skyrim and no Skyrim you always choose Skyrim. : ). If you love the game then get the xbox one. I have a ps4 but I bought it before Skyrim SE was announced :(

When I see xbox mods for fallout and skyrim I want to drop my PS4 in a tub of sulphuric acid. On Xbox they have highly detailed armor and weapon mods and realistic environmental mods...while on PS4 you will see "lamp posts of skyrim" Or "street signs" or the infamous "entrance designs of skyrim" -___-

You'd think Sony would actually try to make the consumers happy. Well, they did have more sales for the ps4 than Microsoft and the xbone uno, so they might not care about the mods issue since they already got our money.

I finally gave in and bought an Xbox 1s because of your vids. I'm loving the mods so far. Getting used to the Xbox controller is another matter though. I haven't jumped ship altogether but my PS4 is going to find out what it's like being a shelf until Horizon Zero Dawn comes out. I'm still grateful for the mods people made for PS4 though. There is some good ones despite what people think.
I did the exact same thing. I actually like the Xbox controller. Not only how it feels but the charger pack makes the controller stay charged for an impressive amount of time, as well as charging up very quickly. And with Xbox and backwards compatibility, I can also now play older games I never got the chance to before as a PlayStation user, such as Oblivion.

If it's a game you really love and play a lot Sophie it's worth it. Mods on Xbox are so much better for Skyrim and Fallout 4.I would definately keep your PS4 though because in my opinion it has better games but it depends on what you like.

I've played Skyrim via Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4. It just so happens I don't have my Xbox One since before the release of mods on consoles. Researching would've enlightened me on the subject of Sony and mods. 🎮

I love how the intro has a nice 8-bit song while on the screen there is the scene from fallout 4 when the nuke drops. And how there are planes exploding. And how an enemy from doom gets killed.
From the comments here you would think the only thing worth a damn in Skyrim, are the mods. Apparently they are not good on ps4. Well, I'm playing the vanilla game, and that's pretty fine.
you must know that a lot of people have +500hours in the game (I think I have a shit ton more on it since I have the ps3 and ps4 version and +24 characters). So after a while the vanilla game becomes boring and mods or roleplay ideas become your only option to enjoy the game more (or buying a new game lol). But we playstationscrubs got fucked since we don't get anything noteworthy in comparison to pc or xbox :/ all thanks to sony's policies.. (sorry if bad english)
Played Skyrim for the first time on my PS4 for like 30-40 hour without mods and had fun. Currently 120+ hour and mods make the game so much better.
The Jumping 5× makes going up mountains easier and mods that make your houses better.

With the ultimate player start mod there is a "common" glitch where you can't learn new shouts. Lord knows how many times i had to do a mission again because i didn't have the shout i needed.
Hey, I'm a PS4 owner and I think what we should do even though we don't have the best mods we should be grateful and make the most out of it. I would want Xbox One mods or for that matter PC mods on PS4 but I'm afraid that's not going to happen soon. But hey it's not like we're not getting anything.

The mod Vampires & Magic is a pretty cool app if you enjoy playing as a vampire, though in some ways it makes you slightly over powered.

I'd advice getting Arvak Enhanced, it gives you the spell book for a power to spawn Arvak and you can always use this power even indoors and in cities, it's especially good if you limit yourself to not fast traveling because it makes Arvak way faster

When Elder Scrolls 6 comes out, this generation of consoles will probably be the last gen, so i will hopefully have a PC by then so i don't have to worry about mods and also have console commands.
Even though i only use weather mods and stuff on PS4 i am still jealous.
I'm almost certain this mod would be considered a cheat mod. For my recommendation the first thought that comes to mind is "Alidon's Ultimate Armory."" Use it's features as you desire, personally I'm a fan of my 100th-ish play through having a choice between immersive starting game, and time reducing/non redundant starting game.

played this game on the xbox 360 and completed it 3 or 4 times i now have a ps4 bought skyrim for it and was kinda fiddling with mods and iv actually got a pretty sweet setup 1 mod thats just amazing me im not to sure of the name its something like dovakin armory located just outside riverwood adds every item in game to a huge town and i love it lol

well, the mods are getting better. you get a whole new location and all new stuff.... so ps4 is getting up there in mods. now all I want is stuff like craftable unique items like thieves guild armor, nightingale armor and weapons. and what not. i'm picky about the enchantments I use, and thus far I pretty much stick to ancient nord armor, or fur armors because it fits my RP style of playing

How about the Werebear replacer mod on PS4? It replaces the werewolf form with a werebear. There is also a mod on PS4 that adds the Snow Elf as a playable race!

I agree. There's a few decent mods on PS4 but Xb1 and PC dominate in mods haha. Only good mods I enjoy on PS4 are for fallout4. They have pretty nice mods on there on the PS4. Wish Sony would just let us mod games like you can do on other consoles. (Xb1 & PC)

If there are any quests that you need a shout to progress, for me it wouldn't work because of the ultimate player start mod.
Surreal lighting is basically a Witcher 3 filter
project hipy makes random npcs attack you, guards (singular) will attack npcs and yourself, i believe a tree colides with an npc path or spawn and kills him - the game registers you killing him so he just attacks you and if you have no bounty the citizens will run to your aid, but will be killed since guards level with you

I know im late but even now the ultimate player start cheat chest thing is bugged and laggy if you take over 10000 worth in weight your items section loads/drops/opening chest/ect gets so lagged that you are only able to switch weapons very slowy (besides favorites pull up screen)
