I am a 38 year old father of 3. I vividly remember when they won each series that year more than I remember the births of my 3 children. I'm not sure what that says about me as a father but I guarantee that none of you were jumping and screaming at the top of your lungs with tears of joy running down your face during your child's birth.
I love seeing a team like that win. Everybody wants the 35 million dollar starters and the 40 HR guys, we turned it upside down. We built a World Series roster with the bullpen, defense, bloops, and singles. Small ball baby! KEEP THE LINE MOVING!

That Astros series was extremely difficult for the Royals. Any other team would have been eliminated in Game 4 but these guys never ever gave up!

I'm a lifelong Blue Jays fanatic...this Royals team reminded me so much of my '93 Champions...NOBODY in the MLB was gonna beat this team in best of 7.....not many in MLB history could've done it easily....they just kept coming....
Thats why there aren't too many teams all time I wouldn't take those Royals against. Hard to find a more clutch postseason team top to bottom. The 14 squad too honestly. If it wasn't for Bumgarner LMAO.

I became a Royals fan since Beltran was there, most years have been hard, these years make up for it.
Orlando was super underrated especially defensively. He was relatively cheap and the Royals really coulda used him the next couple of years.
