- I got tired of my rods getting hung up in the trees while fishing, so I wanted to try out more of a horizontal type of rod stager. I found that YakAttack recently came out with this new product called the YakAttack SideStage Pro Rod Rack and I thought that might work for me. In this video, I show you how I set mine up and how well it worked for me.

Good video I probably wouldn't have figured out how to install the base of the holder on to my Kayak. Thank you
Thanks Gary. Man you are right. I was struggling to figure it out for awhile and had to go find a video that showed me what to do. But they are easy once you know how to do it.
I'm going to use the track system to mount it with.
Perfect!
I ordered a couple for my jon boat. I think they are going to work great for it too.
Oh yea if you have a way to mount it, it would be great for a jon boat.
I installed the SideStage Pro Rod Rack on my Bonafide SS127 a couple weeks ago and I'm very pleased with how it works. I have mine installed on the right side of kayak and carry the handle end of the the rods towards the rear of the kayak. I leave the tip of the rod rack open and the and handle end of the rod rack closed so if I accidentally bump the rod it will not come out. The quick release is nice for transport. Definitely one of my favorite YakAttack products.
Yea I really liked it. Thought it made things a little easier and didn't have to worry about my rods getting caught in the trees. Once I got it adjusted for me, it worked great and was not in the way at all like I was afraid it might be. Took a little bit to figure out how to lock it in the track though ;)
Nice review.
I got that same net
My hooks still get stuck in it an awful lot, does yours?
you can also get 4 rods on the holder?
They are made for 3 rods. I typically have one rod in the kayak with me and then 3 in the rod rack holder.
Great video, consider wearing your PFD
Thanks man!
