PvZ 2
Endurian is the third plant obtained in Lost City in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It was first revealed in the Lost City Part 1 trailer, and then gameplay of it was shown in the Lost City Part 1 developer diary.
Endurian is a defensive plant that can withstand up to 60 bites from zombies, which is 75% the health of a Wall-nut. It can also damage zombies that are close to it by using the spikes it has, similar to Spikeweed.
Sun cost: 100
TOUGHNESS: Elevated
DAMAGE: Normal
RECHARGE: Mediocre
Endurians are defensive plants that deal damage to zombies attacking it.
"When other plants talk about me, they say I'm too gruff. They say I'm difficult to approach, that I'm afraid to let others get too close to me. Also, I smell terrible," said Endurian. But deep down inside, he knows that he's so much more than that. He's also short-tempered.
PvZ 2
Pea-nut is an offensive and defensive premium plant that appears in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It was released on June 22, 2014, and is currently available for purchase for $2.99 (although there was a discount where it cost $0.99 starting July 20th).
Pea-nut is a combination of Peashooter and Wall-nut: It can shoot peas at zombies that deal as much damage as a pea, as well as delay them with its bite-absorbing shell. However, if Pea-nut suffers from too much damage and has reached its second degrade, its fire rate will be halved (except in the Chinese version) as each head takes turns shooting peas.

RECHARGE: Mediocre
Pea-nuts can shoot peas and block zombies.
Pea-nut knows that some folks have an aversion to him. He tries to be sensitive to their concerns and give them the space they need. Still, he can't help but miss the good old days - back when he was the most popular nut around.

I really don't think there's a clear winner here. They have their own strengths and weaknesses, although personally, I prefer using the Endurian, because it costs significantly less, and it's better to have up front defending you. Yes, the Peanut has range, but why would you be putting a defensive plant in the back?

They’re both the same. They’re wall nuts that do damage. Then the question is range vs melee. They’re both useful at the same thing just in different ways
Both are good actually, but personally, peanut gives much more versatility and does the job fairly well, so I prefer it. It has good range which allows poking the enemies. It is sturdy as well. Also, unlike endurian, peanut can benefit from 2 mints. That's a plus. And then situationally, it is actually quite a good thing to put peanut in the backlines.

Damn! Endurian has been nerfed so much. He went from taking 6 zombies munching on him at the same time and still have a bit of health left to barely even surviving a normal zombie

Parsnip won't be released anytime soon but the comparison between those 2 plants is very similar to Pea-nut (ranged) and Endurian (melee) but instead of toughness as their specialty, They possess charge attacks!
But, having Parsnip an expensive premium plant and costlier makes it have stronger attack when compared! So, yeah...

Parsnip is a fusion of Bonkchoy and guacodile!
Peanut may cost 100 gems, cost more sun and recharge slower but once you upgrade it, it becomes invincible, just place them in the middle so both defense and offense will work well, the reason it's premium is because it's the 2nd best defense plant (for me)
Also the reinforcemint power up is insane for peanut

this video is like gun vs knife but I vote for endurian bcoz these plants are supposed to be defensive and put in front not back to hold the enemies with attacking properties, also endurian hits multiple enemies all together while pea-nut hits only 1 per shot, in this case endurian helps other shooter plants to take out the enemies quickly while endurian weaken them, nice video ... but i also wana see ENDURIAN vs HOLY BARRIER

I love the videos but you can’t put a purely defensive plant against a type of peashooter. They have completely different uses.

Endurian: weaker, deals more damage but melee, can hit multiple zombies at a time, costs only 100(slightly less than Pea-Nut), plant food power gives him shield for extra health, is free(can be aquired in Lost City
Pea-Nut: same health as a regular Wall-nut, less damage but has ranged attack, costs 150 sun(very slightly more than Endurian), plant food power gives him a metal helmet for extra health and he fires off a bunch of peas to help clear out that lane, is premium(costs real-life money)
I'd say each of them is useful for something different. I personally like using the Pea-Nut more but that's just me. Both are pretty good plants however.

After using both quite a bit ( just about every level i use both) i would say pea-nut wins. mainly bc endurains hp is just too low to use it for anything but a support on lower levels. pea-nut is quite a good replacent and i have not touched a pea shooter or wall nut since i have got him.

I can understand a peashooter vs another projectile shooting plant. Or a walnut vs a tall nut. But a peashooter vs a type of walnut. Ridiculous
the Pea-Nut was the first plant i ever purchased with real cash and boy what a waste of money.
i never even use it those days because why would you once you unlock the Primal Wall-Nut or bought the Explode-o-nut.
i wish i had saved up a little and bought the Escape Root instead (mainly because of the Top Gun Costume)
Classick Al-Zadjali Yeah the pea-nut is trash for its cost. I like the endurian better because it can handle the chickens an Weasley better and those are very annoying for me because I like using wintermelons a lot and they are bad against chickens and Weasley if there is to many and they are a distance from each other. It can also kill the jester zombies unlike pea and other food vegetable and fruit zombies. It can also handle zombies behind it better.
