We love this hike, did it in December, some sections were closed due to storm damage. We did get lucky and parked in a layby less than half a mile down the road! Looks like the paths have been all fully repaired now. You certainly had a busy day for it, ah a Saturday, that explains it! Brings back lovely memories for us! Thanks for sharing! 👍
What a lovely hike! Everything is so green and lush. I love the water cascading down the falls. The frog or toad that you found was so cute! The views of the hills and the surrounding countryside are lovely. All of the ferns are amazing. I would love to hike this area someday. 😊

Last time I did it (summer) I got back to the car at 10.30 and it was 28C, so I drove home, far too hot for me. Funny enough we were there last Sunday as we wanted to see the waterfalls after all the rain but the heavens opened, so we headed straight to the hotel. Good to see you got a dry walk and some great views, brought back good memories, as it is always a favourite circular walk for me, cheers Alan

That was a beautiful hike Yasmin, really love the fast flowing stream and falls. The trouble with a beauty spot is it will always be popular. I always get passed up the Trail. I just think to myself it isn't about the speed it's the enjoyment of the hike. Amazed that there was a Toad/Frog so high up too. Was that Ullswater? Yes it was ullswater the main car park for the falls are right on the edge of the lake. Well I certainly do a lot of stopping to take in the views 😅😅😂 but I agree best to take it in rather than rushing too much. Yes the road took me by surprise too it seemed to suddenly appear from no where. Thanks Chris 😁

I’m always the slowest of hikers but I absolutely love it 😁 I think the outdoors just stops me thinking about any other things going on and gives me loads of headspace. Nothing beats the views even on cloudy and wet days. So much to love about hiking 😁😁
It is beautiful shame some of the trees were fallen when I visited and I couldn’t quite check out all the view points, but it is a good excuse for me to return another day 😁

Glad you like the video, I haven’t walked the entire Pennine way but I have crossed it’s path several times on different day walks so I may well have crossed your path. Ive defo done the section by high cup Nick, also up by Hadrian’s wall and by keld. Prob done quite a few other areas the path crosses too. I’ve done a few long distance trails but the entire Pennine way is still on the list 😀
@@yasminshikingmission I'm at greenriggs where you go through my garden with all my hens and Ducks. There's a few cars and caravans so you would remember if you have been through. Just about everyone that does takes pictures and videos of my animals. They are probably famous online. 💚💛❤️
