Both look like fantastic fixed blades! Handle thickness is always a compromise. What a great idea to do multiple blades grinds on one blade. Looks very usefull!
Man nothing tops Williams heat treat, I would bet his AEBL will put perform half of these super steels, I've had a few of his knives and couldn't believe the edge holding those knives had.
William does do a very good heat treat. I am getting as good a results on my O1 as a few knives I have had from him in the past. A1 is even a little better. I have never tried his AEBL before but it should outperform both O1 and A2. I need to get setup for doing cryo treatments to expand on the steels that I can work with.
@@LastChanceKnives his AEBL is great, I have cut tons of cardboard boxes and still shaving sharp, maybe it's a combination of his heat treat and that 12 to 13 degree edge but whatever it is it works. I'm not surprised you're getting results you know your stuff brother
Very interesting comparison. Would love to hear your thoughts on the EDC carry differences between this size fixed blade and those that are around 1.5" longer than these. My first thoughts would be this size EDC gives up very little in usefulness but can be more comfortable in the pocket? Perhaps the longer ones do better outside the pocket hanging from the belt?
The size difference does't mean much at all. For people that do a lot of batoning it will, but for everything else the knife is more maneuverable. A 3.5" fixed blade does everything that I need for an EDC knife. A big plus is that the handles are much more comfortable than a folder and there is no lock to deal with. If the knife was longer it would be awkward to pocket carry. These take it right up to the edge, but are still comfortable. If the knife is to big to conceal comfortably it will end up left at home. These are the perfect size. Not to big and not to small.
both nice looking knives..i was thinking his looks a little more polished but youve used yours and it has age on it..His is still new. Should be interesting to see the comparisons.

The multigrind is so nice. Once you try a blade like this you will always want to have one!
Nice
Thanks! I am going to have fun testing these against eachother!
Nice i can't wait to get this package in the mail!
@phila1714 Hopefully it will arrive soon!
Sweet looking knives.
Thanks! I really like them both!

My knife is made from carbon steel to it will turn colors and not stay nice and shiny. The WC is stainless so it will stay shiny.
