Honestly, over the last year or two as Mrs Wing has become a more integral part of the on camera production, this channel has hit another level. Taking it from being a channel I enjoyed casually here and there, to one of my very favorites.
Mrs Wing rocks. I would totally include my wife as well in such an adventure. And her point of view is more of an outsider which is good in this industry where we spend most of our time convincing ourselves that shoes are great. About the pair, I was feeling them and then saw them on your feet and I will not cop. Like you said it would be to show to my friends and that’s it. The Fastbreak have lunar insoles and are really wearable. Rock em every summer. The 2´s in the pack are pretty good quality.
Freshman year in high school I rip the sole off my shoes and my friend dad handed me his shoes " Converse Pro " and I had one of my best games in these.

I was a ballboy for Paine College basketball team in the early 80's and they wore the white a purple ones, I wanted them so bad, but they didn't have them in my small size. My high school up the street, Richmond Academy, also wore these, same color way white and purple. All the colleges and pro teams wore these before Nike. People don't know. Magic and Bird. I watched history of sneakers from then till now. Amazing. Keep rocking!

Altho this did change the game as well, just want to point out that the first leather basketball shoes that blew ppls minds were the adidas superstar that originally came out in '69 and brought the tech trend of using leather for bball shoes. As Kenny Smith said in OPEN COURT when talking about superstars "back then, if you were willing to buy leather shoes for basketball, you were serious about basketball" (somewhere around that line) Keep up the great work man, I always watch you for the fact that you keep it real and not suck up for specific brands!

I just received these today. I had an original pair back in the 80’ that were white low cut with a natural chevron and star. I love them. Should be getting my Nike Blazers this afternoon and lusted for them back in the mid 70’s but didn’t get them.

The ABA (black players) which had a seperate color basket ball(red white and blue) and the NBA ( White players) with a solid color orange ball...I played with an ABA ball.. Amazing how youngsters now have no idea the ABA existed...

I like yours because (obviously) you are the shoe nerd & know the ends & outs on shoes & Mrs. Wing gives her take but it's on a outside looking in perspective. Both are great!! Hope that makes sense*
