It is exactly where Jeremiah placed it in Jeremiah's Grotto in a series of caves outside the city of Jerusalem. It has been and continues to be guarded by angels.
Revelation 11: 15Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The [f]kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” 16And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was [g]and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned. 18The nations were angry, and Your [h]wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.” 19Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, AND THE ARK OF HIS COVENANT WAS SEEN IN HIS TEMPLE. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

More importantly, where is Meshiach? So, did anyone like that exist before the second temple was destroyed?
Jesus fulfilled all the requirements of being the Messiah. He did what the prophets foretold and left to got to Heaven to prepare a place for us. He will return again and set up His kingdom.
There is no such scripture. Nothing you listed fits any description of the real Messiah. Also, the Messianic era didn't start until after the 2nd Temple was destroyed. Read Ezekiel for a description of the Third Temple

He is both the suffering Messiah (son of Joseph) and will return as King Messiah (son of David). Shalom!
@Hebrew-x6r. SOS 1:5 is the Shulamite lamenting her sun-blackened skin from her forced labor in the fields. Darkly suntanned skin was looked down upon as the mark of menial laborers who had to toil in the sun all day, so the upper echelons of Hebraic society took pride in their fair, aristocratic complexions. The Shulamite bride’s embarrassment faded along with her tan: we know this because later on in SOS 7:4, Solomon praised her beauty saying, “your neck is like an ivory tower.” He then compared her eyes to the pools at Heshbon (blue, possibly green), and her nose to the gleaming white limestone towers of Lebanon.
@Hebrew-x6r You have evidently not read the Song of Solomon: it is written from the viewpoint of the Shulamite bride who describes Solomon physically and poetically with a golden tan and legs like twin pillars of marble, as well as waxing poetic of her love and passion for her husband. The book teaches the covenant of marriage includes both commitment and intimacy. It is the Shulamite bride who is embarrassed of her dark tan, caused by her brothers being angry with her & forcing her to work in the fields like a common laborer.
@Hebrew-x6r All of the ancient people groups indigenous to the Asian Fertile Crescent/Levant of the Near & Middle East were, and still are, Levantine caucasoids who share a genetic kinship - Hebrews, Arabs, Assyrians, Lebanese, etc. This is proven by all ancient forensics, the Bible, all ancient secular recorded history, and by literally thousands of years of area artworks ranging from glyphs to murals, mosaics, portraits and statuary.
The photo of the ark is way off base. The Bible says the wings of the angels reach from one wall to the other wall. I don't know why people show the ark as totall-different from the scriptures.
My question is this. Why was it not brought up when the captives returned to Israel and Jerusalem? They had to have known where it was. The priests were taken captive, too and they would have known. When Pompey marched into Jerusalem there was not Ark to be found. He strutted into an empty room with nothing but a scroll that was visible. He did not really plunder the Temple either. that would come years later. So, was the Ark removed again and again during the Maccabean period? Did they do the same thing when the legions encircled the city of Jerusalem?
I agree the tablets were hidden and look like any other rocks there. The box was shown on the Roman arch, and would have been carbonized and/or melted in Herculaneum when the volcano buried it. The remains are in some church treasury if it was found. F. Miller
Lots of different opinions here; My personal view is that the passage about the voice crying out in the Wilderness is a reference to where it is, and the finding thereof and preparation for it's return to the Temple, and the passage about the Eastern Gate of the Temple complex being forever closed because God entered through it refers to the return of the Ark to the Temple. The Ark after all is God's footstool...

Yahweh concealed the Ark because His Son, Jesus, fulfilled the covenant. We are no longer under messianic rulership. Now is the time for Jesus to be acknowledged as the prophesied Messiah, as foretold in Isaiah 53. No humans will ever find the Ark nor the body of Moses. Stop looking.
Jesus and Moses at the Transfiguration Discuss the Fulfillment of the Tabernacles Prophesy So, in support of the proposition that Jesus is the fulfillment of the Tabernacle built by man we offer the following examples: 1. The Covenant Stones containing the commandments of God that are housed in the Ark of the Covenant are simply laws carved in stone. Jesus on the other hand is the perfected law that is written on the hearts of men. What this means is that the practice of blindly following rules is greatly inferior to a change in heart that eliminates the desire to do evil. 2. A second point of support for this proposition is that Jesus provides us with a more perfect priesthood. Jesus eliminated the need for continual animal sacrifices by replacing them with the single, but perfect sacrifice of His own body and blood on the cross. 3. We also find a more perfect Ark of the Covenant in that the Promised Land of Canaan is replaced with the more perfect New Jerusalem that came down from heaven. Therefore, Jesus is the Ark of the new covenant which is far superior to the old.We know that Jesus is the Ark of the new covenant for two reasons. First, because He, Himself said that He was, and second, the actions of God support His claims directly. Let us start with a scripture that documents Jesus’ statement about being the new covenant: And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (Matthew 26:26-28) For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come; In the volume of the book it is written of Me; To do Your will, O God.’ Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law), then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin. Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. The ark is just the holder of the two tablets which are the covenant. After Moses broke the first tablets god said hew thee two tables of stone and “I” will write the words that were in the first tables that you broke. Exodus 34:1 then he tells Moses write the words after the tenor of these words “I” have made a made a covenant with you and Israel. Exodus 34:27 the next books that Moses writes are Leviticus numbers and Deuteronomy. We have had the covenant all along, Leviticus and Deuteronomy. Leviticus tells the priest’s to be the caregivers, the educators and the doctors, Deuteronomy tells those able to go to war to be the government, and numbers separates Leviticus from Deuteronomy creating a separation of church and state. Leviticus is Gods social science; care for the poor, education, and healthcare. Deuteronomy is the political science of law to punish all that go against Leviticus care for the people. According to the scriptures (Daniel and Isaiah), He was to come before the destruction of the second temple, He would claim to be God, perform miracles, heal the sick, be rejected by the Hebrews, be pierced for our iniquities, die on a tree, and come back to life. @Hebrew-x6r 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻♂️

Jesus and Moses at the Transfiguration Discuss the Fulfillment of the Tabernacles Prophesy
So, in support of the proposition that Jesus is the fulfillment of the Tabernacle built by man we offer the following examples:
Let us start with a scripture that documents Jesus’ statement about being the new covenant:
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (Matthew 26:26-28)
For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.
