Joining fuselage haves with black superglue has been a major improvement for me in my model building. I first learned of it on Jenesis Designs and Modelcraft. It's the best way to prevent ghost seams. I usually back up the inside joint with bits of styrene sheet glued with extra thin. It's a bit belt and suspenders approach, but it's working great for me so far.

I have used the plastic strip technique when the plastic is thin in the past.

Cool kit. It’s about time I build a Soviet jet also. Great work as always.

I really enjoyed your video. You used a clamp that appeared to have some type of gripping surface that enabled it to stay clamped around the curved nose. I am in desperate need of such a clamp. Please share any details on the item and where to get them. Thanks and keep up your videos. They are awesome.

Hi Dan, thanks mate. It's just a domestic clothes peg with rubber ends, I got a pack from the bargain shop!

I do like these Arabic air-forces MiGs. Had to get one! Following along keenly to see how it goes together Jamie.

Great build up - cockpit simple but looks awesome as you've done it. I found that gun plate the only weak point of the kit...that said...any Mig15/17 I've built that has always been a little bit of a pain.

Interestingly, you hadn't primed the parts before painting the colours. The adhesion of the paint looks good? The solvent gives enough bite to the bare plastic?

The atom paints are superb. May I ask what the blue glue is please?

Is A-Stand rebranded Alclad, or do you know if they've changed the formula?

So Jaime, we can scribe over cured VMS black superglue and get a nice, neat panel line? With typical surfacer I keep getting an untidy raggedy line. I have join lines on the nose of a 1/72 B-17F that I need to fill, then scribe lightly to match the shallow panel lines near them. I thought of using sprue goo but the VMS glue cures faster with accelerator. 🤔

If I need a proper filling job I use Mr Hobby epoxy filler, no problem with scribing. The black superglue seems fine to scribe if its a small amount.

Hello Jamie what was the blue glue you was using there , looked like it was pretty helpful to hold parts in place. Do you not need a primer with that paint? and stealing your black super glue idea 👍

Its just blue glue from Ammo, it behaves exactly like normal glue but being coloured can be very useful at times

In a plastic box packed with plastic bags to absorb the shock. It works a treat.
