6 Days in Scotland's Wilderness | Thru-Hiking 80 miles on the Skye Trail

- In late June/early July of 2021 I hiked the Skye Trail on the Isle of Skye. One of my favourite hikes to date, this 80 mile trek takes you through some of the most scenic landscapes the highlands has to offer. I completed the trek over 6 days, covering a total of 90 miles (an extra 10 was spent exploring the base of the Black Cuilins mountains). The trail is generally rated moderate to difficult, as much of it is unmarked and in some instances there is no trail to follow. I experienced some bad weather, but managed to avoid the worst of it by combining two sections of the trail and finishing early.

Hey Jack! Wonderful video, i was curious of its possible to do a part of the trail maybe 4 days. Do you know which part is the most beatifull?? I have a tent so i can sleep everywhere!
Hi yes if you push quite hard it should be fine! Most beautiful bit is the section along the ridge to the Storr (in good conditions). The Quairang is also stunning
