@@GhostguyBoberson we actually recorded this before he uploaded his version of his spore modpack, but i did see he made a video on it although i have not watched it and have only watched 2 of his videos in my life since i have so much work i dont actually watch youtube much.. but I think the main mod we used aka the spore one is just gaining popularity right now thats why we've both done it recently. And the blood sweat and tears were more so about the effort into editing haha, i don't think he edits like this at all so that was 100% all me 😉

@@draw2death421 yeah, spore is more balanced, however srp is more hardcore, meant to stay strong even with other mods, which is why if your playing it almost vanilla, you don't really stand a chance
I am someone that likes more videos on a infection and how people adapt to the infection and how the infection evolves to fight the people but I don't really like videos on a story make before the video but I still like your video. Or it could be do to not a lot of people making infection mod videos... but your video is still good.
all the story aspects were actually added in post production (editing) the hand cam and the helmet cams where im talking to the camera were done after we played the modpack. the actual gameplay is raw footage of us playing like 12hrs of the modpack with no idea what to expect haha

Around 1 hour and 26 mins in, i know I'm slow to the punch but that's a drop bear. They like hanging on the ceilings of netherrack wastes biomes, and getting a literal drop on you. That one was bugged i think lol

i enjoy the backpack mod occasionally but not always. it makes losing a base a lot less impactful and intense of a moment cause you can just keep everything on you at all times. I feel like with backpacks we wouldn't have experienced the full wrath and difficulty of this mod.
@@KaranPlaysMC yeah if you had a backpack mod the sheer tenacity of the block side of the fungal infection wouldn't be felt to full effect It grows everywhere and nearly anywhere with a vile vitality and a infectious hunger, overtaking all but the most fortified bases and even then it's a matter of time Just ditching your base at the first sign of overtake without any real consequences except for say rebuilding a simple home would of hurt the experience of the mod
Just got done watching your zombie survival vid literally one minute ago lol, absolutely wonderful video! I loved your commentary and the way you chose to survive, being a nomad. @@KaranPlaysMC Hey karan, just one advice/noticed something, but when you do the slow fade to transition the screen to show (time skipping ahead) it may help to have the slow fade out sped up some, because its overlapping when you transition to the next screen/time hop forward/fade in, seeing that can be a bit disorientating and may trigger people who have motion sickness/vertigo (i have vertigo) wanted to let you know in case for future uploads. But i noticed a lot of transitions are fast, so thats good :D Hope that made sense though, other than that, perfect video! You and your friends are tackling this parasite horror mod in a new take I never seen before and I am loving it! Other minecraft youtubers will do like dramatic survival hardcore lets plays of zombies and parasite type mods, so it's fun seeing you have a different take on it, researching and video taping your progress, it feels like the backrooms, this is a really cool concept you made for this video :D Your efforts show, and I can't wait for the next upload ♥
@@bunniques3758 ah sorry about that, the intention was to make it a bit disorientating kinda like we were going mad and that the days were long and what not and to show that time was passing but it was a looong time that passed and that it wasnt just an instant. sometimes i just do weird things but your tip is valid and i will definitely keep it in mind for future vids, its probs weird even to people that dont get effected by it in a motion sickness way. And I likely wasn't gonna do that again for future vids this one i just let my full creative side out 😅😅

its the most popular mod loader, fabric is newer and it takes a real commitment for mod devs to decide to switch from one to the other. I've also heard its harder to create more complicated mods on fabric

Having no backpack ruined it for me a little, kept cringing at the fact your inv was constantly full

Why are all the popular infection mods all on forge? Is there like a reason or its simply because modders dont want to add it to fabric.
