All during the winter and going into spring, the Russians were publishing videos of grenade and kamikaze drones taking out Ukrainian dinghies on the freezing waters of the Dniepr. They were also publishing videos of Krynky being flattened by artillerie, and of artillerie strike on the islands. I am surprised at the LOW number of casualties published in this leak. Krynky was never a stable position for the Ukrainians, with almost no cover in the village, no way of moving fast in the muddy islands, and Russian drones with night vision covering the waterways 24 hours a day. This battle was such a useless waste of life, but we've grown used to that from the Ukrainian/NATO side.

Alos, a lot of UKR marines died in crossing, the epidemics that sparks in south coast of Ukraine is from Ukraine dead marines. The film when vehicles roll over dead bodies (a lot of them) is horrific, but the video of rats and boats is one of the most tragic and horrible that i saw.

It's really disingenuous to say that the purple areas have been occupied since 2014. The Crimean people democratically voted to rejoin Russia after having been gifted by Khrushchev (a Ukrainian) in 1954. The Donbas was NOT occupied by Russia in 2014. There was a civil war that resulted in those territories being held by the rebels. The Russians gave them aid, just as the US gave Ukraine aid to wage a brutal war against its own people, but to say the Russians occupied the Donbas in 2014 is simply a bald face lie. Russia tried for 8 years to solve the issue diplomatically whereby the Donbas would remain in Ukraine.

The senseless loss of young lives in battle and the anguish of families awaiting their return is a stark reminder of war's true cost. Such profound human suffering must not be allowed to continue. The responsibility lies heavily on political leaders who have allowed this conflict to escalate. "Zelensky didn't try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honor and integrity.
In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas.
If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy.
Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements.
Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time
Russia's national security was compromised once NATO began to expand eastwards. Russia clearly stated that Ukraine joining NATO was a red line (November 2021) and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated: if nothing changes, we will be forced to act in order to defend our national security. Enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns.
20th September, 2021: Ukraine launched military drills with US and NATO
NATO is not a defensive alliance. NATO illegally bombed Yugoslavia (a direct violation of the U.N. Charter).
We should never forget what they did to Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq etc.
Who blew up the pipeline causing an environmental disaster?
Zelensky banned all opposition and arrested a leading priest.
Zelensky tried to invoke article 5 under false pretenses. Remember the incident in Poland.
Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed.
Poroshenko said, “Our children will go to schools and kindergartens-theirs will hide in the basements”.
Russians will never forget the 2014 Odessa massacre. The whole world needs to know about it.
Why was Denis Kireev eliminated? He was a member of Ukraine's negotiating team during the peace negotiations. He wanted to help his country.
Ukraine has a hit list. They target artists, journalists and ordinary citizens. Hundreds of children are on this list. 13 year old Faina Savenkova was placed on this list.
Pink Floyd's Roger Waters is on this list. Jimmy Dore (American stand-up comedian, podcaster) and Aaron Maté (Canadian writer and journalist) are on this list.
There is evidence that Ukrainian troops have been indiscriminately shelling civilians in Donbas (they used petal mines and targeted areas where there was no military presence).
    Why Russia moved on Ukraine.
The azov troops trapped in the azovstal steelworks in Mariupol used human shields. They refused to allow civilians to leave despite of humanitarian corridors being present.
Russia held a proposed cease fire in order for the civilians to leave, but azov would not allow the civilians to leave.
Ukraine has committed many acts of terrorism (car bombs and other forms of assassination). Darya Dugina (journalist) R.I.P.
The first terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed the truck driver and the individuals in the adjacent car (innocent civilian victims).
The second terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed two parents and severely injured their young daughter.
I have done a lot of research and it took me a long time to write this comment. I have stated a lot of facts and I have given my honest opinion.
I have provided a brief summary of events that took place. In order to explain this whole situation in great detail, a book would need to be written.
Hopefully someone will write an UNBIASED book, stating facts and allowing the readers to form their own judgments. Everything said can be fact checked and verified"

Parliament looks to investigate Krynky operation. In an interview with RFE/RL, Bobrovska noted that the operation, which began in late 2023, may have been of questionable military value. “In my opinion, this area has received the least coverage of all. It has been significantly overlooked throughout the operation, since late October [2023]. There were already signs that should have alerted us to the fact that troops were ordered to advance without realistic objectives and support.” On July 16, Ukrainian media reported, citing a source in the General Staff, that Ukrainian troops were forced to retreat from Krynky. The news has led the Ukrainian public to question the soundness of the entire operation, which is seen as a failure to produce meaningful results, costing Ukraine dearly in personnel casualties.
In the TOP-3 of the maddest persistent operations in military history. Deepstate [a UA site] have updated their map on Krynky, and just like that, the glorious 'Krynky breakthrough' is over, catch is, it was over like 2 months ago, but Ukrainians insisted it wasn't lost like Soledar.

It's not about a "single content creator", but about a single point of view. You can watch a hundred different channels parroting the same propaganda. It's genuinely better to watch both sides of propaganda even if you don't like what you hear to stay actually informed

Yeah... I really did not understand the Krynky side of things, even as a form of diversion... It's just not a good place to do it. Once you cross the river you can't easily retreat. You're just there and hoping you get lucky.
Also feel this shows why Russia retreated back from Kherson, having that water buffer seems more successful than defending urban centers since the attacking force may be able to get a foothold, but without a heavy amphibious force that can speedily get there and well, get out after you're just isolated too much to really do anything.

Wait a second, you don't get poisoned to death by tear gas... You were just complaining about non-lethal tear gas being used as if it was as bad as mustard gas or something. Why no comment about THIS? Am I missing something?

    • @TinyBitMouse01
      @TinyBitMouse01 Місяць тому

      Tear isn't non-lethal, it's less than lethal.
Large doses of tear gas can kill you by causing chemical burns to your lungs and throat.
