I got my 2023 Accord sport hybrid about a week ago....I actually love the styling, I know I seem to be in the minority. I think its got plenty of power for everyday driving. I got my 2023 corvette stingray if I want to be a juvenile and go stupid fast.
Just reserved my EX-L hybrid with BSI and homelink rearview mirror in Canyon River Blue....cannot WAIT for it to come. Just with the premium audio were an option on this trim level.
Ours is ordered. Should be in sometime in the next week or so. I really like the look of the car, and I'm planning to use it mainly to commute and bring my small family on road trips. It is a low drama car with good features for what I'm looking for and I figure it will last forever. I love that you can actually see whats under the hood, so when it gets older and I have to start working on it it will be easier than all of these other cars with shoehorned in engines ! Thanks for sharing your video.
@@johnkeithracho3944 We have had it about 2 months now and are absolutely loving it! Perfect car for our family and the kind of driving i'm doing. And I'm hitting 50mpg consistently (at least according to the dash display!)
Cons: No spare tire No premium stereo No fog lights Pros: ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ELSE!! Bought mine 5/19/2023. Platinum white pearl with tinted windows, added body side moldings, splash guards and door edge guards, giving it a slightly more detailed vibe😎👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Considering the 2023 Accord is nominated for best midsize sedan of the year by a number of automotive publications and Honda’s own website has it listed as a midsize sedan should be more than enough to confirm it’s a midsize.
Its the Hybrid models that do not have spares. Its for weight savings. The standard , non-hybrid Accords come with spares. This is the same with most other manufacturers. No spares. BUT, you can purchase a spare and tools and put it into your Hybrid models easily, at a cost that won't break the bank. But the weight of the spare will cost you a little less mileage. Everything is a matter of having a good 'Balance' , and Honda chose this to be sufficient. Most consumers have never used their spare tires in a lifetime, and todays auto roadside services are really good. So, it really shouldn't be a 'deal breaker'. This is not my opinion, this is a fact. 👍👍
Just curious.... what is your main reason ? I am also a Honda enthusiast, I got my '23 Sport- L model about a month ago, and I love it !! Its not perfect, but no car is. I have averaged about 550 miles a tank, and fill ups are only for 10 - 12 gallons. I just went to Las Vegas and back, and averaged 49.7 miles per gallon. It drove great. The ride quality, the handling, comfort, all the tech worked perfectly, and its fairly quick. It checks off 8 of my top 10 reasons to buy it, with the other 2 being acceptable. I'm not saying that this is the best car to buy, but it is a great choice. Its all a matter of what you want, and need. You have to have a balanced judgement regarding a car, and if its a good choice or not. I've owned a couple of dozen cars in my lifetime, and never have I had a 100 reasons to like , or dislike a car. Some people put too much emphasis on form, some on function, but many buy a car for the wrong reasons and then later blame the car. With todays technology, manufacturing process, and consumer demands... regarding today's modern cars, there is no such thing as a 'Bad' car. Some are good, and some are better. Also, you can't compare a $25,000 car , to a $125,000 car. As for my feelings, price does not determine Quality. If a $20,000 car meets your needs, expectations, and reliability, then its a quality product. A friend has a $150,000 car, which he constantly calls a piece of shit, because something is always glitching... does that fit the term of 'Quality' ? ( Thanks... sorry for long ass reply ) . 👌
@MACHAN54 That's a fair question. First of all, the expression "100 reasons" wasn't intended to be literal...it was a hyperbole to indicate I do have reasons. Frankly, everything you mentioned is reasonable. My reasons are more personal preferences. For example, I have a personal like for Fog Lights, they just look cool. Nowadays with headlights that are more powerful, Fog Lights are not as functional as they used to be. So for me, it is esthetics. I do have a thing about lights. In January we were in the Acura dealership and my wife was quite content with getting the 2023 RDX, but I disliked the taillights. I told her I didn't want her backside looking like that going down the street, so I LITERRALY spent $20,000.00 more and got her the MDX just because of the taillights. OK, back to the Accord...I personally dislike the interior dash setup...I am more a vertical dash setup, ie the TLX and MDX...one of the many reasons why I still love my 2015 Accord. It's dash setup is cockpit like. Also it's right turn signal is a major reason why I don't plan on dropping her any time soon. Actually, when we got the 2023 MDX it was to replace another Accord we had, which was supposed to be replaced with the 2023 Accord but as you already know, I have 100 reasons why that wasn't going to happen. Another reason for not liking the new Accord is the honeycomb...it's not for me. Another reason is that this Accord just looks cheaper. Have you seen how much better equipped the Asian version is? Even has a panoramic roof. Another reason is that they now only offer grey and black interior. I have NEVER had a vehicle that was a tan interior( Another reason for getting the MDX with its Parchment interior). I don't want to drive around in a casket...it would make me feel claustrophobic. I like an airy feeling, also a tan color lends itself to a more upscal look. Another reason is I don't like the front grille. So, as you can see, most of my reasons are personal. Accords are great cars, EXTREMELY reliable and that's why I have bought them for 30 years. But when they stop offering the things that make my driving experience pleasurable, then I have to move on. I can compromise on the less sporty exterior look, but when it comes to the interior, I am NOT driving a black or grey interior car.
True. Honda cheaped out on Accords this generation. At this price point there are better and cheaper options especially when it comes to features and interior design and quality. It is better to buy a Civic instead and save yourself 10 grands.
Five reasons why you have to buy 2023 Honda Accord hybrid: 1- Toyota Camry XSE Hybrid is not available to you, 2- Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is not available to you. 3- Honda Civic was not available and you had extra $10k lying around 3- You like boring black or grey interiors with lot of plastic. 4- You love the new look of Honda Accord and nothing else matters. 5- Somebody has a gun pointed at your head. 😊
True about some of the other brands. Their supply chains are a complete joke and they might have nice cars but if you can’t deliver them to your customers they are going to go someplace else like Honda or even Nissan which both companies who can actually deliver in a timely manner.
5 Reasons you shouldn't buy a '23 Accord: 1. Bland design 2. No 2.0T option 3. Piggybacking off of #2, It's SLOW! 4. Overuse of black interiors. Very few color options for Touring owners. 5 You shouldn't buy a new Accord because there are plenty of 10th generation 2.0T Accords available.
I sold my 2.0. It really wasnt a big deal Most didnt but the 2.0. Thats why it went away. Funny how people bitch when things go, but it wasn’t that popular to begin with
My last four vehicles have been Hondas, and have been waiting for the 2023 to come out to replace a 2013 touring accord. What a letdown. Boring aged exterior, slow, even with the hybrid setup and overpriced. Honda messed up here, and sales will be disappointing for Honda. Some other carmaker will get my money.
I could not agree with you more. I've been driving nothing but Honda/Acura vehicles since 1985. Currently have a '21 Accord Touring 2.0T, which I love. If I were to, "upgrade", to a '23, the only real improvements I would gain are newer tech and better fuel economy. But it would be at the great expense of driving dynamics and performance. No thanks. I'll pass. Like you, I will very likely leave Honda when I decide to replace my current car. Never thought I'd leave Honda but I'm so incredibly disappointed by the new Accord and Honda's apparent direction towards ultimate blandness.
The interior is even worse. It looks and feels like a Civic inside and nothing to set it a class above. The competition in this class is offering much better quality interior, features and back seat vents for less price.
@@einsaan I have this car and you people like complaining about this car when the interior is much better than last generation. Poor ppl love feeling rich with their last gen cars
@@kevinarias7749 I wish you had learnt to read as well while becoming rich. If you ask someone to help you read, what I wrote is interior quality compared to competition e.g. Sonata and Camary not previous generation 😑 And btw I don't think you have to be rich to buy an Accord. I use these cars for daily grocery runs and commute and my Audi for longer drives for more luxury and comfort.
@@einsaan The only thing that compares in terms of reliability and interior is the Camry and even then you still have to wait a year for the refresh. If you have to buy now I’d just get the Honda
Nothing appealing about this new Accord from Honda!. Needs drastic style update fast to compete with Sonata, K-5 and Camry . Already looks dated and bland ..Interior bland as well.... Not to discredit Honda's quality and overall reliability....
The problems I find with the 2023 Honda Accord: 1. No All Wheel Drive is available 2. No heated steering Wheel is available 3. No spare tire is available 4. No XM Radio in vehicles sold in the USA (Available in Canada, If you can do it in Canada why not the US) . If a 2023 or 2024 car missing all of these features is fine for you, then get one. Hopefully, by the time 2025 comes around these deficiencies will be resolved.
Looks good in silver. Looks like an Audi. German good looks, Japanese reliability, American made...I'm in!
I agree, throw some tint on it and it's good to go.

It’s a very nice vehicle. Owners know what’s what.
Just got the Hybrid a week ago it's awesome I love it!
I like the look. My concerns are that the driving position is too low and the car is too long 195 inches. Tough to park or store in a garage.
