Hey guys you need to go to specific malls for clothes to buy winter clothes in sri lanka. Some of them are nolimit, house of fashions, thilakawardana textiles, kandy textiles etc. Most of the cities in sri lanka have pleasant weather not like in india. For example nuwara eliya has 10 or 15'celcius( lowest) and all the other cities have some thing in between 20 and 35 degrees celcius. maximum of 38 celcius.( not like 48 or 50'celcius in india) may be there was high humidity in that particular day. I watched this video today. Thats why i am replying late. this type of vlog misleads all the viewers.
Hi. I am a sri lankan. I travel overseas in winter sometimes of the year. Sri Lanka has enough winter clothes as sri exports winter clothes.
You should have tried
House of fashion Colombo
And soecuacual winter clothes shops in pettah market and close to the fort railway station area.
Colombo has other shopping malls as well with good clothing options.
It would be possible that Chicago airport might have a shop with at least a decent jacket. Hope you two were able to be warm flying into the coldest days so far this year. BTW, they announce that Samyama will be April 26-May 3 at III, in case you were wanting to volunteer 😊. Registration isn't open yet, though.
