Overall, an excellent presentation. The Lord Jesus did indeed take the punishment for sin on the cross that we might be forgiven!
Though if you will forgive me for saying (and allow me to share my views) there were a couple of things quickly mentioned in this video that I don't agree with. My humble thoughts below, in case anyone finds them helpful…
    *1. Misrepresentation of Pontius Pilate*
First, he brands Pontius Pilate as a "cowardly crowd-pleaser" who "lost his nerve". That's a horrible mis-representation of Pilate, who was a hero! Unlike the Jews, Pilate found no fault in Jesus at all and was completely sympathetic to him. Pilate did everything he could to let Jesus go, but Jesus' own people were kicking up a storm, insisting that he be crucified.
Pilate gave the Jews every chance to let Jesus go, but eventually gave them what they demanded, not because of 'cowardice' but because Jesus was their citizen under their authority. Pilate publically washed his hands in front of them, declaring that Jesus crucifixion was unlawful and it was on THEIR heads, not his (Matt 27:24). So Pilate did nothing wrong at all.
    *2. Misrepresentation of Christians*
Mr Tice also presents Christians in a very negative and carnal light, suggesting we're little more than self-righteous hypocrites like the Pharisees who crucified Jesus! When talking about sinful humans, Mr Tice includes HIMSELF, and says that we only "consider ourselves" righteous and moral.
What a bleak view of Christianity! The Christian faith I know is all about being born again, being DELIVERED from evil, TRANSFORMED into a new man, turning from sin and being made clean, righteous and pure like God. There should be NO trace of sin in the church - and anyone found sinning should be expelled, as God commanded through Paul (1 Cor 5:11).

Hero? Pilate like many bowed down to man's pride and evil plans, not God's.

Philo, the ancient Jewish scholar from Alexandria, described Pilate: “His corruption, his acts of insolence, his rapine, his habit of insulting people, his cruelty, his continual murders of people untried and uncondemned, and his never-ending gratuitous and most grievous inhumanity. Yes, Jesus seems to have profoundly affected him and he was also affected by his wife's s dreams and saw though the words of the religious leaders. But in the end he preferred his friendship with Herod, and annd afraid of a possible uprising gave in to the mob. Washing his hands and declaring himself innocent, does not make him innocent and certainly not a hero.
