Thank you for the comment, my dude. This one is fairly challenging compared to Remorse, so I wouldnt beat myself up too much. It's particularly difficult to get the timing right with the staccato left hand in the intro segment.

I ended up learning this on the piano but it sounds messy because of my small hands. The song hurts my fingers but hey, it’s a great workout! This cover makes me think about Beard and the tragedy of overcoming the odds only to die not even half a year later.
If only things were different!

Stoked on you learning the tune and on this comment in general. Hotline Miami will always hold a special place for me in how it managed to blend audio, gameplay and story so seamlessly into the heinous little package of an arcade game that it is. HLM2 was a bit of a disappointment for me as a gamer, but it really expanded on the soundtrack in ways I wasn't expecting. Lots of melodies to take and play with as a musician.
On that note, I wish I had more frequent access to the piano in my videos because I've said it before that I'm probably ready to record a couple by now. It remains uniquely untuned and ready to go. I hope there will still be some people interested in listening when I finally get after it.

@@chrisbeams3994 I couldn't say definitively, but either way it's longer than I'd like to admit. It usually takes a fair number of attempts to film and perform after the even longer process of trying to make sure I've transcribed it faithfully.
If I'd pick a reason it's been so long since I've gotten one out, I'd probably say it's because I haven't been satisfied by my attempts. That, and when I was almost ready with Light Club's Blizzard I had a hard drive fail beyond recovery and lost 10 years of files I was working on. Real shame, but that's how she goes sometimes.
