TR-MAGNET manual cutters allow for intensive cutting of ceramic tiles, especially when we refer to BIII type and stoneware tiles of BIIa type, but they also offer us optimum performance in the frequent cutting of porcelain tiles (BIa type) with thicknesses of less than 15 mm.
The multipoint breaker of RUBI TR-MAGNET manual cutters ensures perfect cutting quality in the execution of diagonal cuts from end to end.
On the other hand, the TR-MAGNET stands out due to having a system fitted with the separator assembly, which allows the operator to work with one hand.
The MAGNET system locks the breaker, making it easier to score the ceramic tile and with better visibility. On the other hand, by simply moving the lever upwards, we set the breaker which will allow us to apply the 800 kg maximum power and obtain a clean and precise cut.
All models in the range of TR-MAGNET manual cutters feature a central pivot swivel square for quick and precise measurement of angular cuts in the -45º to 0° to 45° range. The square is completed with a technical plastic lateral stop that allows pieces to be fixed in repetitive cuts.
RUBI TR-MAGNET manual cutters have a high strength two-layer aluminium base with a shock absorption effect, and lateral supports for large tiles.
TR-MAGNET manual cutters are equipped with chromed steel guides, rectified and calibrated, and with anti-corrosion treatment. This double guide system offers the user better and greater visibility of the scoring line, thus obtaining high precision in every cut.
The possibility of using the full range of RUBI interchangeable scoring wheels from 6 to 22 mm, allows for adapting TR-MAGNET manual cutters to each ceramic material, and achieving maximum performance and cut quality.
TR-MAGNET manual cutters include two scoring wheels as standard: one of 6 mm for cutting the tile and another of 10 mm for glazed stoneware. Finally, we should highlight one of the most distinctive and specific aspects of RUBI manual cutters: the transport case with reinforced latches and hinges, to protect and facilitate the portability of the TR-MAGNET manual cutters.

Just purchased the Speed Magnet 62.
Amazing!!!!!
I used to have yhe tr 700 plus years ago an I thought it was a fantastic cutter, I used it for 10 years without any problems. This new 'magnet' version looks like a great cutter but the breaker swinging around like that looks like it will be so annoying trying to get it to drop or get ot out the way. On the old version I quiet liked that you manually had to drop the breaker
Genial la quiero
Yes yes show
Did you ever install quartz shower slab and quartz floor tiles?
Sal, what about sigma and montolit tile cutters, do you have experience with them? I am looking for a pro tile cutter and you are one of the tile -masters that I follow :)
Hai Sal, Think your workshopfloor need some new tiles.... good video. Finally someone who thinks the machine is more important than his face during the video...
Very nice tile cutter
I will buy a new one..
Great 👍
is there a cutter that you would recommend for the do it yourself home owner? starting my kitchen floor soon and will eventually be doing the bathroom as well. I'm pretty sure I don't need something this high end (although it is nice) but I don't want a 50.00 one that I'll be frustrated with and get bad results with. we're using 12" porcelain and I don't have 2 to 5 hundred to spend on a cutter.....and suggestions?
Rubi makes some more economical cutters that are less expensive, but still good quality. take a look at these dibsmart.com/product/rubi-fast-manual-cutters/
@@SalDiBlasi scam
Anything that can cut tile and makes me money! Only issue I have with the Rubi. Only issue, not a fan of the magnet.
Man if the tile cutter survive then you can cut anything
i tried that one to cut porcelain, it was a real nightmer, does not slide smooth and breaks porcelain
Cutting porcelain in the video, piece of cake.
Así si le va a durar tratandola tan mal
And circule?
Straight cutters don't make circular cuts wet saw or grinders can do that....
Sigma in my opinion is a better tile cutter..
Rubi? :) Montolit and Sigma So much better !!!
Rubi every bit as good, with more choices to fit your needs, which actually makes it better.
Sal DiBlasi Are you serious?? If your a professional tiler there is only "Sigma" .
Rubi and even there TX versions don't even come second try the Montolit Evo3 93cm that personally comes in second to the Sigma.
Rubi have lived off a reputation for far to long .If you don't believe me look at Sigma vs Rubi or Montolit vs Rubi then tell me how good Rubi is .....?!?
@@nicholaslister7331 Sigmas are for hacks slamming in Taco Bell floors. Rubis are the only choice for real Tilesetters.
Some harsh comments fellas. Every cutter is different. I like to watch the videos and see how the operators use the tools. When seeing videos made by the manufacturers, everything is staged. When someone like Sal grabs a new tool to show, I watch to see where issues are. With this cutter, it seems to stick a bit when pushing. I know that has to do with the angle of the handle due to the blade inserted too low, but that is something I may not want to deal with. It's similar to my Rodia. Currently I use the Clinker, the Big Clinker and my Rodia 75.
I started with Superior piano cutters and as tile got larger, so did the tools. I'm not a big fan of Rubi, but each to his or her own. Sal has a video out about the Montolit cutters and that may be where I go for the next big purchase. Thanks for the videos Sal. Keep being Elite
I used to be a sigma guy, but Kaufmann topline .is much better cutter than sigma, but I do like my rubi ts max for smaller jobs ,because of the visibility of the cut line.
