Thank you. I'm adding pressure washing to my handyman service and my 2 biggest concerns is property damage and their lovely plants. It's become clear to me that I have to learn soft washing and learn the appropriate chem mixes. Soak the plants before, during and after. That's simple. I can remember that. 😊😊

Excellent advice and only educating those how do it incorrectly or maybe not aware of the dangers it causes to the environment, plant life and soft washing business's in general. Top class advice, products and customer service as always.
Hi there Have found your channel recently and the advice you give is excellent. I’m thinking of starting a soft washing business and wonder if you do any kind of training courses ? Feels like a big step but I’m 99% sure I can take it

How long does it take for the grass to recover? I damaged my lawn while cleaning my fencing. I was down streaming with a 7:1 down steam injector. I didn't think the solution would be strong enough to kill my lawn.
Depends on the type of grass, type of chemical applied, and strength of chemical. There are many species of grass and some are more resilient than others. For example, some varieties will grow in salty soil while others will not. Click this link to see photos of the tests we did applying Benz Bio Cleanze and Lightning Cleanze to a lawn. Even though the grass turned brown it fully recovered in a few weeks. www.benzsoftwash.com/pages/plant-life
Would you bath yourself in the solution? If not than that should be enough to answer your thought of I didn’t think it would harm anything watch what the chem will do to a frog or a simple earth worm it literally looks like they were set on fire
Depends what's in the rinse water. When our Benz Softwash products are used correctly according to our guidlines, then no. But we cannot comment on the products that other companies may use and the dilution strengths they may use them at. Our Lightning Cleanze product is the best way to get dirty artificial grass clean first time, then maintain with Bio Cleanze. www.benzsoftwash.com/pages/plant-life?_pos=1&_sid=2b55ae113&_ss=r
I have a customer complaining about plant damage 2 weeks later I was just using my down streamer..I have to go and take a look later today at the plants..If the damage was caused by me can you tell me what I should expect to see?
If the plants have been subjected to chemical poisoning the first thing you'll see is the leaves turning brown. Some plants are much more sensitive to chemicals than others and for some even light whiff of overspray will turn their leaves brown. Many plants will eventually recover - although customers will never be happy with the contractor - but If the poisoning is severe, you will just see dead plants. All this can be easily and simply prevented by pre and post drenching, plus skilfull application techniques and quality application equipment, to minimise overspray: www.benzsoftwash.com/pages/plant-life Benz spray nozzles enable the precise application of soft wash chemicals with the minimum of overspray: www.benzsoftwash.com/products/softwash-spray-nozzles
Ben is talking about the inappropriate and inexpert application of soft wash chemicals and how pre and post rinsing with fresh water will protect plant life, including lawns, shrubs, flowers and vegetables. Fresh water, in the amounts used for protective spraying shown in the video, will not damage plant life.

Would this damage artificial grass? Any water would run in a slope towards my grass.

@@BenzSoftwash ty buddy! Much informative
Is this only from the chemicals being used? Or can this happen just from pure excessive use of water?

The lack of willingness to educate yourself thoroughly about products before using will generally end up with these results
Agreed. And we are doing our best to get that much-needed education out there.
