God had said earlier, he was going to use him, but carelessness, youthful exuberance were part of the tools the devil used to destroy him.
He totally fell into the trap of the Devil and but for God's mercies he would have lost his life.

Kaiii what a powerful movie. The grace of God is not a license for sin, we must be careful as children of God. The fact that God is using doesn't mean you are pure and it's very dangerous because you may think you are a child of God while God does not recognize you as his. Pursue God and purity . It is good to always trace our past and make amendments. Truth when we are in Christ we are new creatures , so it is good to look back and ask for forgiveness in your days of waywardness and ignorance. Lastly vengeance is of the LORD. In an attempt to avenge you will only hurt yourself .
