Finally, after months, this is finished!
If you haven’t seen the WIP for this, the context is basically that this takes place in an Azula redemption arc. At this point, she wants to change, but she’s still too scared and apprehensive to let go of the belief that she’s a monster. Zuko’s trying to convince her to leave that harmful worldview and her father behind, but she ain’t having it…. Not yet, anyway.

I love this, it's so perfect for them, the fact Azula wanted help and Zuko wanted to help her but when he was banished he couldn't but he had no chance to save her, he genuinely cares he even took her our of the Asylum to find their mother in wanted to save her. He never got that chance since she was too far gone.
He only got azula out because he needed information about ursas whereabouts
I do not think Azula is too far gone. When Zuko said in search comic that she is his sister no matter what and he will care for her, it had profound impact on Azula. She not going to change instantly. It will take time. Zuko did not change instantly. In addition canonically her story is not finished yet. So who knows.
They are potentially giving her a redemption arc in her solo graphic novel: "Azula and the Spirit Temple."

this hurts so much more when you realize that zuko said that he loved azula and that no matter what, she was still his sister and he would always see her as family. even when they have no one else, not their dad, not their mom, they have each other. and no matter how much she would push him away, zuko would still call her his sister. that's some love there.
"you are not the villian, you once held my hand." i can hear azula's inner child screaming and crying in pain.
"Yeah, well... 'Azula always lies,' _right...? _*_...Zuzu?"_*
I love zuko saying: " this won't stop the hurt for long" to his sister cuz he knows from experience

I never realized how well this song fits them! You did amazing, the expressions are wonderful and I love how much compassion you can see in Zuko's face and Azula's pained expression at the end!
yo, this is the first time i've listened to this song and successfully not only empathized with the villain (though i still do empathize with Azula/the villain side of this song i can finally see how the hero might be someone that's just as broken as the villain) also this was just beautiful in general. 10/10
