Fact: If Katara hadn't stepped in during the final Agni Kai, then Azula would have won.
Well technically she did. her opponent was hit first and was lying unconscious on the ground. The Agni Kai ended right then and there.
The common consensus is that if Azula was in her normal state she would definately beat Zuko, this is agreed upon by Uncle Iroh, Zuko and Azula herself. But if she fought one on one against Zuko in her crazy/maddened state, victory is disputed.
@@tiringsarcasm and she looked like she didn't sleep in days, with dark circles under her eyes.
Actually Zuko got hit defending Katara so maybe not.
Another interesting thought I like to think about is that she technically won the Agni Kai. So by the rules of the duel and fire nation law, she is the rightful ruler of the position of Fire Lord.
