How to fix a single motor electric desk when the legs are uneven or out of sync?

Always try "Reset" (press and hold the "Down" button till the desk reach the lowest and reverse) before try the steps in this video shows how to fix the single-motor sit-stand desk when the legs are not level or moving out of sync

The manufacturer's instruction say nothing about making this adjust to ensure the legs are even before continuing assembly. I assembled mine only to discover there was about a 1.5" height difference. Fortunately it was pretty quick to disassemble the necessary parts to get to this rod to adjust the height. Thanks for the video.

I can't loosen the darned thing. At least now I know I am turning in the right direction. It just won't pull apart. I think I jammed it or something, ugh. I've already removed the top and the things that go over the legs (the pieces you screw through to attach to the desktop) once. Here we go again but hopefully this time it works.

Thank you!!!! The rod for my desk didn't have a "depth indicator" nor was it mentioned in the instructions but only one side was moving. so I removed it as shown in the video and just pushed it in as far as I could before securing it back into place. And it works now 🎉

I have had a single motor desk for about a year and have had trouble with it from day one. I currently have the problem that only one side wants to work. Pressing the reset doesn't work at all. It just keeps moving. The left side is stuck in the high position and I'm afraid if I go all the way down with the right side it will mess up the left side. Would appreciate suggestions. Of course the manufacturer is not helpful.
