Hey Latherix I have been watching your channel for ages since some of your early ftd play throughs. Would u ever consider playing no man’s sky. I think it could be a good series or maybe do a test play for a video or something.

is there any plan to try and keep up to date with the console version. i hate that i cant use any of the new flight blocks among many other things. also there is a issue on console that if you use Venture and Better Future blocks on the same craft the sound bugs.

Don't bother, homie. Payload pretty much gave up on console release updates not long after they dropped Better Future.
if AI attacking behaviour has not been reworked in the last few years...
if enemy techs still try to get directly behind you to attack, randomize their attack quadrant on spawn
this way you never know which way they will attack - could be 'normal', could be from a flank or even direct charge
I'm gonna be honest I actually kinda liked that Geocorp didn't have its own flight blocks, in my eyes that made it unique and specialized in mining and digging
They dont have a true mining system yet though
I used to think the same. However, since those flight blocks are so huge, i view them as parts for extremely big cargo planes (for transporting resources and such), and i have made one myself using them!
Agreed but they did it well
well geocorp has always struck me as the industrial faction so everything being massive feels right at place
It still is, something can have variety and still be specialized.

Hey! It's been a while (as everyone else and their mothers have been saying here) since you last played this. There's a whole new biome, OFFICIAL MODDED SUPPORT, (though it could be better) and of course, many new blocks and quests.
...maybe I should watch more than 5 seconds in the video before I repeat EXACTLY what you said.
So happy to this game back. It's been so long, I say no limitations on the series. As far as location, Geocorp area is a bit more base friendly. The racetrack one is cool, but a bit busy for base construction. Also, if thermal is not available, how about that dynamo generator? LOL. Glad to see you back in TerraTech boss. Looking forward to the next episode.
Dynamo! Yes! Using venture Ai modules and better futere flat blocks to make a race track power generator using a bunch of dynamo generators!!!!
If I'm honest, I'm a smidgen more partial to the GSO Ruins, however, the Venture racetrack would likely be more profitable due to proximity to resources and extra space.

Lathland is a hidden treasure on UA-cam. started watching you around 2015 while I was in 6th grade with your pixel piracy, from the depths, Terratech and Ark SE and now I've just graduated highschool and I still see your videos pop up from time to time. You are one of the few youtubers I never grew out of and I wish you the best in all that you do. I still watch youtube but as I get busier and busier with work and school (on my way into the medical field) I may be unable to soon. I just want to say that you always kept me entertained in my more difficult times, with your calm humor and ability to conquer games the likes of which I could hardly comprehend the full scale of. Now that I see you've come back to an old favorite of mine it does make me nostalgic for the times when life seemed so much simpler.
I missed this series, hope it lasts longer than before

The race track area could be cool. I think you built in the ruins already once, although that was awhile ago and I might be mis remembering. As for restrictions, I love seeing all the material go to all the places, so I think you should be restricted to crafted or ‘repurposed‘ items.

terratech brought me to this channel so i love seeing it back after so long hope to see it continued also 6 tech run only one flying tech and it cant be used as a main combat tech and then 5 themed techs one for each corp and no hover cheesing with better future and whoever else can do it

With the introduction of official modding, would you have any interest in adding them to a play through or doing one after that uses mods? They add so much more high quality (arguably better than base game) blocks to play with, with new features too!
Especially mods like Small Geocorp which are so nice for filling gaps and decoration!

Yessssssssss! I've been waiting since your last terratech upload, you have been such a large influence on the Engineering side of me, so much so that I joined the Marine Corp as an engineer recently. Doing well, and awaiting patiently for the next terratech upload🙏❤️✊

Happy to see the series back. As a frequent player of the game I recommend that you use the regular autominers as you can actually add up to three on one vein. Additionally you can craft them super easy in bulk with the yellow crystal and the plumbite grey material. I got a few million using this with the green crystals. That’s true satisfaction.

As for location: My vote is the Venture ruins.
Potential limitations: Once you place a base piece, you cannot remove it!
*I'm glad you're back!* Suggested restriction: Only one corporation per episode. Each episode you have to use a different corporation. Maybe something like needing to wait 2 episodes before using a corporation again.
I put my vote in for the ruins! It's got a salt flats next to it that'll be great to ride around in with some of your faster techs, and I think it just looks cooler!

It's been a minute since I've really watched any of your stuff, I was always into the TerraTech and Nimbatus videos and was watching way back when you were near the beginning of TerraTech s1, was looking through some terratech stuff and found this, seems like I've been given a new series to keep up-to-date on and honestly I'm so excited, you were by far one of my favorite content creators up until you kinda fizzled out of terratech and into a lot of other games, always good to see some classics come back, especially given how little content people make on this game

So glad to see this back. I think the ruins look best, and if you want restrictions. I think a good restriction is the one you mentioned, being having to craft every block. I'd love to see a massive proper base and factories.

man it's nice to see this make a return. i've found that watching these videos is what got me into playing the game myself. i even have my own style of building too. so i wanna see how you handle it.
- the challenge is to make your builds comprised mostly of geocorp. that means big blocks, wheels, guns and such. you're still allowed to use other corporations blocks, guns and mobility like wings over hovers. but your primary building material is to be majority of geocorp-related. also, you can not build on a flat bed. by that, i mean your vehicle (if it has wheels) must drive at an angle whether it's the wheels being at different elevations or a staircase build. it has to be an angled vehicle
Now that ya mention it, its been a while since you did a Terra Tech video. Good to see it again, And Airships got its update 3 days ago, so we got plenty of content to look forward too.

A restriction for techs might be that they have to be made of at least 2 distinct parts joined together (sort of like the hull of a catamaran, connected by the hull? Idk… don’t know boats)
The venture mission spot seems both complicated and interesting because of the unique terrain… if only the ramps could be removed…
