The Rhino like creature is called Arsinoitherium and it wasn't related to the Rhino at all.

The smilodon wasn't a tiger it was more of a lion and and the other carnivore is a Andrewsarchus
I know smilodons weren't tigers. But the colloquial name is 'saber-toothed tiger'.
