if you in LA and have a delivery car, it easily beats a minimum wage job by far. A 5 hour night on the weekends without bonuses I can still make around 100-150 a night. For me its 4 days a week Thursday through Sunday, 20 hours of work a week, 4:30-9:30 PM and make around 450-700$ a week
You have the right to reject any order that is offered to you. I reject everything under $7, and I only do less than 9 if the delivery is like 10 minutes away. I felt a pain in my soul when accepted that 44 minute $9 delivery
Hell yeah. Welcome to the party! I have been doing food delivery on ubereat, grub hub, and door dash with my bike as part time gig. I made about $1k/week. Taking advantage of this pandemic.
Very clever way to get in more shots of the city and provide some insight into the Uber Eats delivery life! An eye opening video in more than one way, and the ending brought tears to my eyes 😍 👏🏼👏🏼
It would be a lot more work for you to call each food place to see if they have any deliveries and then deliver. I used to do that in high school before door dash and under eats was popular and i spent more time calling food places if they had deliveries than actually delivering. I guess the convince lets you get paid more opportunities. kinda like how googling something is easier than to go to the library to read through an encyclopedia.

I started Uber eats early this month and I’ve been making more than minimum wage at a fraction of the time (3.5 hours a day only) This is definitely the way to go for extra money in nyc. Also wear a helmet!
Not going to lie $122 for a full day in NEW YORK CITY of all places (where you can ride an e-bike) is horrible. Imagine doing this in anywhere that isnt New York City, and having to put miles on your car and pay for gas. You would be lucky to even make a profit.

That’s less than minimum wage if you compare it to a standard 8 hour work day and subtract self-employment taxes. That doesn’t even start to take into account the other costs like the wear and tear on your bike, etc...
@@justmario Basically if you’re an employee in the US, your employer is required to pay for a portion of your federal retirement income (social security) and healthcare (Medicare).
